Question: Do you let them dissolve in your mouth or just swallow them?
Answer: Swallow if for stomach issues (the peppermint needs to travel before being dissolved for this), bite if for breath issues. -
Question: I would love to buy these but the ingredients are the worst. really doterra? is there another product out there like this with better ingredients?
Answer: We don't know of any other products similar to the beadlets, but you can purchase just the peppermint oil by itself. -
Question: I've heard that ingesting peppermint oil can make heartburn worse. Does any of the packaging say anything about heartburn?
Answer: In larger amounts yes. However these are smaller than BB's and while they are potent, it is not enough peppermint to cause heart burn. Peppermint oil can actually be used (1drop), rubbed on the chest to relieve heartburn. -
Question: at what age is it safe to start using these?
Answer: Due to the sometimes high concentration of the compound 1,8-cineol, Peppermint essential oil should not be used topically or orally in medicinal concentrations with children under age 3. This may trigger spasm of the glottis, also called "pseudocroup", causing difficult and "crowing", noisy inhalations. It is safe in amounts that might be used in food, assuming reasonable and normal consumption. I don't believe I'd use these with a child that young, as the concentration might be on the risky side. Once a child has passed that threshold, you should introduce oils containing this compound (Eucalyptus is another) in small amounts, slowly. These warnings apply to topical use and ingestion only. Peppermint is considered safe to diffuse, but I don't think a diffuser would take kindly to these beads. :) -
Question: Did anyone else receive this with out plastic covering?
Answer: Yes, mine came without plastic AND all the peppermint beads had exploded. It was a mess and ill never purchase again. I will go straight through doTERRA next time. -

Question: How is this healthy if it contains palm oil and carrageenan?
Answer: Not sure about that but I have used for years to treat upset tummies or heartburn and it works wonderfully. -
Question: Does this products contain alcohol in the ingredients period do they extract oil with any alcohol
Answer: NO ALCOHOL! Ingredients: Peppermint essential oil, coconut oil, palm oil, agar, guar gum, glycerin, sodium lginate, carrageenan, xylitol.
