Question: Anyone use this on a car?
Answer: I put this on my rusty car, and now the car is gone. Except for the tires. -
Question: how strong of a smell and breathing issues if using to spray on plastic type shower
Answer: I used in my bathroom on a plastic shower with a cloth mask and rubber gloves with the vent on and had to stop after about 3 minutes because I was coughing so bad. Was really strong for me. -
Question: Can I use this on brake rotors? Will it eat away metal?
Answer: Iron OUT is specially formulated to remove rust stains caused by iron laden water, from most surfaces in and around the home. Iron OUT is not intended to remove rust from exposed rusting metal. -
Question: Will this remove rust stains from bottom of toilet bowl?
Answer: I would think so. It has removed rust from everything I have applied it to. Empty the bowl of water first and then apply. Word of caution: follow the directions. I accidentally left it on longer than directed and it ran down and etched our old porcelain tub with white streaks. It specifically states in the directions that old porcelain may etch. My fault for leaving it on too long. Otherwise, this stuff is amazing. -
Question: Will IronOut spray harm oil rubbed bronze fixtures?
Answer: Hello, Bronze is not a surface we have tested on, we don't advise use on bronze surfaces. -
Question: For toilet bowl ring did you turn off water to tank first?
Answer: If you quickly dump a gallon or so of water into the toilet bowl (say, by tipping a small pail of water into from a foot or so above), the toilet will flush without refilling. This is a good quick way to expose the water line (and most of the bowl) without having to turn off the water supply. I do it whenever I clean my toilet, so the toilet bowl cleaner clings to the bowl. -
Question: Are you happy with this Rust Stain Remover?
Answer: Yes, it’s awesome and very effective. I used it in the bathtub. My daughter has metal toys and they stained the bathtub and the rust was removed with this solution. -
Question: Will this clean glass surfacees?
Answer: When used as directed, Iron OUT is safe for use on glass. We do always suggest pretesting an inconspicuous area of any surface you intend to clean to determine compatibility. If found safe for use; Iron OUT should be applied to the surface, gently rubbed on the surface to remove rust stains and then rinsed promptly and thoroughly not allowing the product dry on the surface. -
Question: Will this work on Acrylic
Answer: I am not sure. I checked the bottle it indicates it can be used on plastic but does not show acrylic. I would contact the company directly to make sure. -
Question: Can it be used on a sandstone retaining wall?
Answer: I am not sure but if it works so well on porcelain maybe it would work on sandstone. Not sure if it is too porous to get rid of stain.
