Question: How do you clean the OXO microfiber?
Answer: IMO it’s a waste of water, detergent and energy to try washing the cover. Someone else answered that you should avoid washing with non-microfiber items because the material will get stuck in the cover fibers and clog it all up. I don’t disagree. The cover is never going to be effective again once the strands get stuck together because washing it will not get them unstuck. I’ll go even further by noting that my experience has been that the strands will almost certainly get stuck together well before you try washing it. If there’s even the slightest bit of humidity when dusting it causes the dust to bond to other dust as well as the cover strands. I’ve experienced this with three different covers and washing them has never helped at all. I don’t think this is a design flaw. Aside from those that live in super dry climates, I presume this happens with most any duster. That’s why they sell replacement covers. My advice is to just buy a replacement. They’re less than $8 and also available with Subscribe and Save for even cheaper. -
Question: Would this fit into a1 1/2 inch gap under my TV
Answer: yes.....I'm 78 years old and this is the best 'duster' I've ever had. It fits all kinds of small, narrow spaces.....love it. -
Question: How many times do you use it before having to replace the microfiber for a new one? If ever? I saw they also sell them separately.

Question: Can this be attached (screwed onto) to an extension pole for harder to reach high ceilings?
Answer: unfortunately you can't, I did however just tape the handle to an extension pole and still got the job done. -
Question: Does this product work well on blinds?
Answer: I don't have blinds to test it on, but I think it would work well. It's picking fine dust off of wood nicely, and works better for this than anything else I have tried. I think the shape could work well with blinds, and since you can control the angle I think you could get it into those small spaces. -
Question: 2 questions: How often should I wash it with moderate use to pick up ash, dust, crumbs, etc.? Can I bend it or is it not meant to be bendable?
Answer: I washed mine once as directed and it looked fine afterward. However, once I started to dust again with it the whole one side unraveled. Will not buy again. -
Question: Since this uses static electricity, is it safe to use on computer and other electronic equipment that is sensitive to static electricity?
Answer: I use this for my plantation shutters - not on my electrical equipment or computer. -
Question: I can’t be around any feathers due to lung transplant. some say it does have feathers. i have to be certain. feathers or not? tia
Answer: It doesn’t have feathers. But I don’t recommend this for you because it does shed a lot. And the dust doesn’t stick to it. -
Question: can you pick up all the dust in your bedroom before you need to wash it? Thanks.
Answer: Yes, it holds quite a bit of dust. However, I do take it outside and shake it frequently, as you would any other duster. It takes a while to dry after you wash it, as it should not go in the dryer (or be washed with fabric softener). -
