    • It is a bacterial, sporicidal, fungicidal and virucidal antiseptic that contains 10% w/w Povidone-Iodine equivalent to 1% w/w available Iodine.
    • The brown color of Betadine antiseptics shows the area that has been treated and also denotes the activity of the product. In most cases, Betadine antiseptics do not irritate or sting the skin or mucous membranes.
    • Betadine does not permanently stain skin or natural tissues and related areas can be bandaged, taped or otherwise covered without risk of adverse effects.

    Very runny. Helps prevent infection.
    Used for ulcer on ankle. Topical that helps prevent infection and has done that. However it is very runny and not ointment once applied. Hard to bandage after application due to it's liquified state
