Question: Is there a version of this that doesn't have parabens?
Answer: As a retired Nutritionist I agree with Laura. Even short term use of parabens is unacceptable. There is an accumulative affect. There are in fact safer alternatives. In addition to parabens, PEG is extremely toxic and unnecessary, and corn oil contains GMO's - again there are less toxic alternatives. It's almost as though the doctors actual formulators selected the cheapest and most toxic additives - yet at $30 a tube there's no excuse! -
Question: There is really no other way to know but to ask: Is this better than PH Cream?
Answer: This is the best best best ointment ever. It heals within a day and a half. I don't know about the Advanced Care formula or what the difference is but the maximum strength formula is what I consider a miracle cream. I also use it if my nose is irritated from blowing it too much and it heals it overnight. Fully soothing. Doesn't stain. Stays put. Miracle healing ointment. A little dramatic but true LOL -

Answer: Oh my gosh YES! 100 x better. This was better then a medicine the doctor prescribed me that I paid like $70 for. Totally, totally worth trying this! -
Question: ?How does this product compare to a lidocaine/phenylephrine compound or a hydrocortisone suppository in terms of effectiveness
Answer: This ointment actually contains lidocaine (4%) and phenylephrine hydrochloride (.25%) along with a multitude of other ingredients; most of which are "natural". It was extremely effective for an internal hemorrhoid which occasionally bleeds. (I've never used a suppository.) -
