      Answer: No, these are not recommended for dental use.
    • Question: How does this compare with NasalCEASE, a natural based bio-polymer called calcium alginate (which is more expensive)?

      Answer: I CHECKED NasalCEASE against the Curad, and it seems to be almost identical. I think the price difference is just between the brands. Curad is generally lower in price than other brands across the board.
    • Question: Is it water proof?

      Answer: no
    • Question: is this fda approved?

      Answer: y
    • Question: It has been 24 hours since I put the bandage on, and the bleeding has stopped completely. Do I wash this off, or leave it on?

      Answer: you will want to remove it carefully once the bleeding is stopped. use some water and wash it off and out, and then replace with normal antibiotic+bandage. do not leave inside any wounds.
    • Question: is it sterlized?

      Answer: Yes, according to the package. It states "Sterile unless package is damaged or open."
    • Question: Do you think it would work on a pets cut foot?

      Answer: Yes, we have been using them for years on our pets (Dog) injuries, from playing to hard to running in the back field and getting a cut on pads/legs and ears.
    • Question: What clotting agent is used?

      Answer: According to the pkg, it does not seem to be a clotting agent. The gauze forms a gel & with slight pressure, it seals the wound.

    Stop Bleeding Fast!
    Anyone on blood thinner needs to have these to instantly stop bleeding for small cuts. They work great. I will never be without them.

    I need this.
    I’m always cutting my fingers with a kitchen knife. Last time it was with a scissors. This helps to stop the persistent bleeding and healing comes faster too. That means less downtime and back to work faster.

    Small
    Purchased to round out first aid kit, but too small to use for serious larger bleeds. Don’t understand why product is so expensive. May need to purchase larger size also but Price is a deterrent.

    These work
    I bought these for my first aid kits. Had to use them a couple of times and they work real good. Stop the bleeding fast if you use them under some other kind of dressing like a bandaid or rolled gauze.

    great to use if you are on blood thinners
    stops bleeding. I have several family members on blood thinners and it helps them to stop bleeding. I have one in every glove box and purse.
