      Answer: It could have come with any of those. 3 is the largest.

      Answer: It means its not an in the ear, or behind the ear with a custom earmold.

      Answer: I am not sure which model you have for phonak but I ordered these for mine. They worked pretty good. I have had hearing aids for about six years now. I figure that I have to change the tubes every six months. They do get brittle. Don't wait until they break.

      Answer: Does the Phonak Ambra have "screw-on" tubes? If so, they will probably fit. Ask the company selling the tubes.

    Smaller tubes are nearly invisable
    These smaller tubes are nice and look far less noticeable than the standard [ear mold types]. They don't transmit sound as well so you probably should revisit the audiologist after making the switch from the large type to these. But if you're making a straight on replacement they are fine. The tubes are made from Teflon not PVC so they don't get hard like standard tubes do over time. The nice part is they are very comfortable and hardly noticeable.
