Question: How to use Donn n Donner with compression panty hose?
Answer: I don't know about panty hose, but it works great on compression stockings. Go to youtube.com or the manufacturer and view their videos.....I use the method of putting the stocking on my arm, sliding the D&D over my arm, grabbing stocking opening and pulling it over the D&D down to my wrist. Look at the video. Then I slide it over my wife's foot and up the leg (make sure the heal it down) until the stocking is in place. Then pull the D&D down and off the leg. Look at the video. A frustrating 15 minute job came down to about 2 minutes total. Great Product. -
Question: Socks have a hole on bottom and are thigh high. Would you use same method as toeless socks?
Answer: It depends on the size of the hole. It it’s large enough to follow the open toe method, then I would say “yes”. If you need additional assistance , feel free to call the 800#. We are always happy to help. -
Question: We bought one and it works great. In the video, it mentions a connection with dolphins. What is the connection? Thank you
Answer: Don't have a clue except the dolphin on their logo. -
Question: can I take this on a plane
Answer: I don't know for sure but I don't see why you couldn't take it on a plane. It is the only made of a rubber type material. I would suggest taking the box it came in if u still have it. -
Question: When you take the stocking off, why can't you just leave it as is on the donut and roll it back onto your leg the following morning?
Answer: Thank you for the question! The benefits of removing the stocking from the Doff N' Donner after use include: airing the sock out, allowing the fabrics to rest after being stretched, and avoiding wrinkles. However, you can leave the stocking in the Donner over night and re-apply if you aren't concerned about these things. If you have further questions, please feel free to reach out to us! -
Question: Does it work without the cone
Answer: You can get along without the cone per se but you need something like the cone to enable you to put your stocking on the rubber device and then on your leg. -
Question: Are written instructions included when ordering the sleeve separately from the black cone?
Answer: I never ordered the black cone. only the doff n donner sleeve....reason I did not order is because the nurse who comes out showed how to do this easy without the cone...1 put the sock on your arm and pull it up to approx. your elbow...then slip the donner onto your arm take the top of the band of the sock and pull it down and over the donner...then roll the donner off your arm and the sock is on the donner ready to put onto your foot..Then put onto foot be sure the heel part of the sock is on the top as you push the donner onto your foot the sock will roll up onto your foot and leg... then just slip the donner off your leg your done... The donner will last for years...still using the same one that was purchased approx. 2 1/2 years ago. -
Question: Can this device be used D&D thigh-high stockings as well as knee-high?
Answer: Thank you for your interest in this product, this works well with knee highs and thigh highs, the design of the product makes donning compression garments much easier. I have had a couple of people that did not find it to be as helpful with pantyhose. Please let us know if you need anything else. -

Question: I've used this product for a year and a half -- happy with it but it burst today. What is the fluid inside made of?
Answer: I read that it was soapy water. I should think, as with any product, the sleeve would wear out after a while. I am confident I will be replacing mine, just as I have to replace my compression stockings, my othodics, and my very expensive shoes. This product has been an absolute lifesaver for me and enabled me to wear thigh-high compression stockings. I actually have two of the "sleeves" so I can have both stockings all set for the next day.
