    Bar Keepers Friend Soft cleanser 13-ounces delivers the same power as our classic cleanser & polish, but in a premixed formulation for a quick, consistent clean. This creamy, ready-to-use formulation clings to vertical surfaces, making it an ideal glass shower door cleaner, but it works equally well against rust stains, tarnish mineral deposits, soap scum, and indoor or outdoor grime. Surfaces: stainless steel, brass, Bronze, copper Alloys, aluminum, ceramic, porcelain, glass, Corian. Kitchen: sinks, cookware, stove cooktop and exteriors, oven door windows, countertops (non-stone), plates (buffs out knife marks). bathroom: sinks, bathtubs, and showers, faucets, toilets, tile, and grout. Outdoors: rust stains, grills, vehicles (test first), siding, sporting equipment. Always test first before using, some ingredients may etch or dull delicate surfaces. Do not use on Gold or silver, polished stone such as marble or granite, and lacquered, painted, or mirrored surfaces.

      Answer: Liquid works as well as powder with no gritty residue.

      Answer: I agree with MaryAnn on using a scouring stone. I have well water and always tend to a ring around the toilet. At first I was worried a stone would scratch my porcelain toilet but it removed my toilet rings.
    • Question: Will this scratch my black gas stove top? Not a cooktop, but a regular gas stove.

      Answer: No, it will not scratch your black gas stove top.
    • Question: Can this product be used on black stainless steel appliances?

      Answer: I wouldn't see why not. It's not very abrasive, but I would double-check with the manufacturer just in case.
    • Question: What Is It Made Of?

      Answer: I do not know. Couldn't find ingredients listed -- only to be careful to not get in eyes because contains oxalic acid. Sorry, but we love it for stainless cookware, porcelain, ceramic etc.
    • Question: Has anyone noticed their blanco siligranite sink needs to be cleaned with this now everytime? Before I used it, stains would come off with soap.

      Answer: It may have scratched it (or another product may have). My sink is black, haven't noticed any problems.
    • Question: We have rust on our shower curtain rod would this take that off?

      Answer: Yes, you will need to use daily base on how long the rust was there.
    • Question: Will this work on chrome?

      Answer: Yes, I think so. I'd use it on chrome.
    • Question: Does this work on non-stick anodized aluminum cookware?

      Answer: They actually have a great product for cleaning cookware. Bar Keepers Friend cookware is the name it’s a powder and does a great job.

    Great for Most Surfaces
    I've used this cleanser on various surfaces, and it works great on most of them. However, it may not be suitable for delicate materials.

    Decent Cleaner
    The BAR KEEPERS FRIEND Soft Cleanser does an okay job, but I expected better results. It's average at best.

    Excellent Product!
    This cleanser is amazing! It effortlessly removes tough stains and leaves my surfaces sparkling clean. Highly recommended!
