    CholestOff Plus is clinically proven to lower cholesterol.

    Maintaining a healthy cholesterol level is an important part of good heart health. CholestOff Plus is made with Reducol™, a proprietary blend of plant sterols and stanols (also called phytosterols) that can help lower LDL (“bad”) cholesterol by reducing the absorption of dietary cholesterol into the bloodstream.

    The National Cholesterol Education Program (NCEP) recommends 2000 milligrams of plant sterols and stanols as part of a therapeutic diet to help lower cholesterol. However, most people only consume 200 milligrams through their diet. CholestOff Plus provides the additional 1800 milligrams of plant sterols and stanols to help meet what the NCEP recommends for cholesterol reduction. Products containing at least 400 mg per serving of plant sterols and stanols, eaten twice a day with meals for a daily intake of at least 800 mg as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, may reduce the risk of heart disease. One serving of Nature Made CholestOff supplies 900 mg of plant sterols and stanols for a daily intake of 1800 mg.

    CholestOff Plus is made with esterified sterols and stanols instead of free form sterols and stanols used in CholestOff Original. These esterified sterols and stanols have been clinically studied and show consistent cholesterol-lowering results. Additionally, Nature Made has conducted clinical trials examining the effects of CholestOff Plus on cholesterol.     • Question: Other than Cholestoff Plus being a (more expensive) softgel and regular Cholestoff a tab, is there any beneficial difference between the two?

      Answer: PLus seems to have "esterized" Phytosterols. The regular version does not esterize. LDL reduction has been proven only for the Phytosterol Esters - NOT Free Phytosterols. The product with no "Plus" essentially doesnt do us any good, according to Nutrition Action. According to that magazine, FDA allows manufacturers to claim reduction in risk of heart disease only is they have esters - not just plain free phytosterols.     • Question: Is this stuff the real deal?

    • Question: Need to know the exact ingredients. Have allergies.

      Answer: This contains Carmine. The bottle in image here does not list that on ingredients but the one I received does. Companies that use this have to list it out separately as is a known allergen for a lot of people. ( insect exosceletons used for the bright red color )
    • Question: Why are they black?

      Answer: They're dark brown not black. I did open a capsule and the ingredients are light colored and opaque. Maybe they thought a dark capsule would look better.
    • Question: What is a reasonable time frame to start seeing results?

      Answer: I personally don't think many will see much results with this product. Of course some people might , but I would think it would easily come within month. If you don't see results by then don't expect to ever see any results. I saw no results from the product. You can see far more results by lowering you saturated fat and going on a 2000 calories a day restrictive eating program which means eating all your calories within 6 to 8 hours time frame with a fast of 16 to 18 hours.
    • Question: Will this lower triglycerides also?

      Answer: After three months, it lowered by LDL, but NOT my triglycerid
    • Question: Why did the price double since the last time i ordered this a few months back????

      Answer: I've noticed prices vary based on the seller. Shop around for a better price.
    • Question: Why I’d this price go so high? $14.99 at Walmart!

      Answer: Because of the quantity I believe. 🙂

      Answer: The ingredients.shown on the bottle is: 400 mg per serving of plant sterols & stanols, sunflower oil esters, gelatin, glycerin, medium chain triglycerides, soy lecithin, water, colors added & it contains Soy.
    • Question: What are the added colors added? What are there sources?

    Stop, wondering it works
    In December 2022 I had blood work done that showed my cholesterol level was what my doctor described as slightly above normal range. I asked was slightly above mean, and he replied 221. I panicked and he said if I wanted, he could put me on a cholesterol medication. I said no because I wanted to try some other ways of lowering my numbers. I remembered a solution a relative of mine uses to reduce their cholesterol and I figured what do I have to lose? Let me do some research on it and give it a try. my doctor scheduled me for blood work to recheck myself and compare it to my December bloodwork. I so after doing all my research and purchasing a bottle of this stuff I religiously took the recommended dose daily, and when I saw my results on my blood test on February 23, 2023 my numbers of 221 dropped down to 164. And I could not believe the results, because I purchased my bottle on January 11 and it came two days later. So from religiously taking it on January 13 through the date of my bloodwork on February 23. My numbers dropped significantly in that short amount of time. I am set to be do bloodwork in May so I anticipate more good news, so just in case my cholesterol becomes too imbalanced IMA just go from the four recommended pills eat today to just one in the morning and one at night to keep me in maintenance. now that I am in range and will start taking two pills a day I’ll see with the new bloodwork what the difference is for if there is no difference and my maintenance model is effective. I can’t believe how well this cholesterol supplement worked, and please if anyone is wondering if this would help them I urge you to try it. You will be very happy and surprised with your results and the worst thing that’ll happen is it doesn’t work for you and you may have to resort to medication but at least you know you tried and only good can come from trying this supplement. Thank you nature made.

    Doctor recommended and it successfully kept cholesterol down, keeping me off prescription meds for a few years. I finally was put on a low does medication and advised to keep taking the cholest-off. Hopefully it will help keeping my med dosage down.

    Softgel count misleading
    Been using this product for years and helps cholesterol levels. Beware that ad states Nature Made Cholest-Off Plus, 210 Softgels, but listed as Size: 200 Count (Pack of 1).
