Customer Questions & Answers
-
Question: I am 15 and a virgin but i have a really heavy flow I leak through super plus 2-3 hours my heavy days should i get size B for my heavy flow?
Answer: The size of the cup depends of the size of your vagina not of the flow. As a virgin and as you are under 21 you should get size A but instead of cleaning it 2 times a days you should cleaning it 4 o more times a day.size B is bigger and can contain more flow but it is also wider And can be unconfortable for you -
Question: Is this softer than the diva cup? I find diva to be uncomfortably wide and I'm looking for something with a better fit.
Answer: I converted from the diva cup to the lily cup. Yes, the lily cup is much softer and less wide in diameter. I find the lily cup more comfortable to remove due to the smaller diameter. Its also easier to insert because unlike the diva cup it doesnt have that wide fat rim around the edge. -
Question: What is the return/refund policy? I want to try this cup, but that’s a lot of money if it doesn’t work well with my specific body shape.
Answer: I agree with the person saying don’t return a product you have inserted into your body and covered in your blood. It’s just gross to make someone else have to deal with that. Take the period nirvana quiz. They are GREAT at recommending the correct cup for you based on your answers. They recommended a main cup plus three others that should work for me. I bought them all over a period of time and they all worked. Two that I bought that weren’t recommended didnt work. Those are in my bathroom drawer. Sending them back never crossed my mind. -
Question: I'm a tiny woman with children (youngest is 9)it is still a very tight fit down there even for super tampons.. Would a size B be to large for me?
Answer: I am a woman with children by vaginal birth. My youngest was 8 when I started using cups. I first ordered the "B" size equivalent from another company. It was far better than tampons, but still felt a little... odd. Maybe even "pinchy" sometimes. I switched to the smaller size, and it worked beautifully! You know your body, so I would encourage you to "go with your gut". I've ordered this brand and am waiting for it to arrive, so I can't yet speak to it, but experience says you may do well to try the "A". -
Question: Can you use the lily cup of you have an IDU?
Answer: The Lily Cup is held in a lower position than a tampon and should not interfere with an internal birth control device such as an IUD. However, please consult your medical practitioner prior to using the Lily Cup if you use an internal birth-control device. -
Question: I have a moderate to heavy flow and I'm worried that the large size will give me more rectal pain than I get with tampons...experiences with tht?
Answer: Hello, Thank you for your question! As the cup is a very individual experience, it is suggested that you consult your medical provider or gynecologist before deciding on the cup, if you usually have any specific issues with menstrual cups. Please note that the Lily cups Classic are designed for a high cervix. If you don't have a high cervix or you're worried that the cup is too long, you might be interested in the Lily Cups Compact instead. Best regards, Lilly@INTIMINA -
Question: Is this easier to insert than a Diva cup?
Answer: The LILY Cup easy to insert and remove once you have adjusted to it! With any new cup there will be a learning curve. From customer feedback we always hear that our silicone is much, much smoother and softer. Lily Cup is also the only cup that can be rolled as thin as a tampon for easy insertion and it features a no-spill rim. -
Question: Can this be worn during exercise?
Answer: It can be worn and stay put no matter what you’re doing, so long as you make sure that in forms the suction seal. -
Question: I just bought the 28ml lily cup but wondering if the larger one (32ml, hot pink) would be stronger?
Answer: Not stronger. Just larger. It’s a soft cup so if you need something with more substance you would want to try another cup or disc. -
Question: Im very petite, i bought the blossom cup in the past, size small, and itwas so large it was painful. Do you think size A will be small enough for me?
Answer: Do you mean large as in too long or too wide? I had the Diva Cup (the smaller size) but caused some pain because of of the thickness of the cup and this one is thinner and I have forgotten was wearing it before. Length depends on if your lady parts sit lower or higher. It has a longer stem than my old Diva Cup, which I had a tricky time pulling out with its stem. Hope this helps.
