Question: Hello! What kind of fish do you use to make it? Thank you
Answer: Wild caught pollock and hake fish make up this oil. -
Question: Is this product gluten free?
Answer: Yes, it is gluten free. Grain products are not included in the ingredients list. I am gluten intolerant and I have had no issues with the product. -
Question: does this product contain anchovies?
Answer: The packaging says that the fish oil comes from Pollock and does not mention anchovies. -
Question: Is this a NON GMO product?
Answer: The product is wild caught Pollock and Hake in Alaskan waters. Each batch is IFOS tested for safety and purity, and the company is certified as a sustainable fishery by the MSC. As far as GMO or not I have no idea. Before the "accidental" release of modified crops, pollen dispersal, farmed fish etc. wild caught would have been as natural as can possible considering all the pollutants that run-off the land and humans dump into the ocean. Question: Does this product contain vitamin D
Answer: Although this product does not contain Vitamin D, Barlean's does offers a separate Vitamin D3 product titled Barlean's Seriously Delicious Vitamin D3 (5,000 IU in 1 teaspoon) if interested. Thank you!
