Question: how many servings?
Answer: For me one jar has 28 Servings. The label says to put 2 scoops in a glass of water, and assuming you have two scoops each day for breakfast, that comes to 14 Servings Per Container. BUT, Two Scoops Per Day??? Wow!! I use ONE Level Scoop per day, and that is MORE than enough for Breakfast, and I'm a big, tall guy! One scoop of this powder if very filling and satisfying, and I always feel great after having one scoop. But I think that any more would be way too much. So, I'm going to say that One Jar has at least 28 Servings!! -
Question: Anyone know why the unflavored has 26 grams of sugar and the chocolate one has 11 grams? I would figure it would be opposite.
Answer: Raw Meal Original previously had 26 grams of sugar from Organic Brown Rice Sweetener; however, the formula was changed a couple of years ago. For the current formulas: Raw Organic Meal Lightly Sweet contains 6 grams of Organic Cane Sugar per serving. All other flavors contain less than 1 gram of sugar per serving, as they are sweetened with Organic Stevia Extract (leaf) (Chocolate, Vanilla & Vanilla Chai) and Organic Erythritol (Chocolate & Vanilla). Question: What do you usually mix this product with to drink.....I saw a couple of you mentioned almond milk and ice but I was wondering about other 'recipies'?
Answer: Before I purchased, I saw a lot of people saying they didn't like the flavor or it didn't mix well. After reading lots of comments and reviews, I noticed that customers that used a blender or vitamix, etc. to blend it well, all really liked it and didn't have issues with it not blending well. Since following that advice, I really like it. I use the vanilla and chocolate flavors on a daily basis. I make smoothies with it at least once per day, (usually for breakfast), once in a while I will make it twice in a day (breakfast & lunch), with a healthy meal for dinner. In my vitamix, I put 10 oz unsweetened almond milk, 1 scoop of raw meal, 2 bananas, and 2 handfuls of ice- it makes it thicker, creamier like a milkshake. Another way I make it in my vitamix- 10 oz unsweetened almond milk, 1 scoop of raw meal, 1-2 cups of frozen fruit (sometimes I use just blueberries, or just strawberries, or sometimes mixed berries, really any of your favorite fruits.) I highly recommend it. It keeps me full longer, less snacking throughout the day. It's a great way to get lots of healthy superfoods, etc. in a quick and easy meal on busy mornings. -
Question: If I purchase large and replace one meal a day how long will this last me?
Answer: The Serving Size for Raw Organic Meal is 1 scoop, and the Large Raw Organic Meal canister contains approximately 28 Servings, so if you replace one meal a day the Large canister should last you about 28 days.
