Question: Is this detergent safe for silk and other items that would normally require Woolite?
Answer: This detergent appears to be super gentle. From the first time I used it I noticed the dryer vent was nearly clean after the first load...this never happened with my old detergent. I normally take my silk garments to the cleaners yet one slipped in one day and came out unaffected by the detergent or the wash. In my personal opinion I believe it would be fine to use yet you should start with one item only just to ensure it meets your idea of OK. I can tell you I think this detergent is great...just make sure you use as directed as it is concentrated and it only take a tiny bit to clean an entire load of wash. -
