    • Question: Concerning mthfr/compt/sult genes-does anyone prefer hydroxo. over adenosyl.-or vise versa?

      Answer: I purposely bought this Adeno version because my combination of MTHFR issues were not letting me tolerate methyl. I also did injections of Hydroxo compounded and still had issues. I love this version, it works so well for me. You should give it a try if you are having any issues from the other versions. It is the most mild, IMO.
    • Question: Want to make sure this company does zero animal-testing before I order. Does anyone know certain? Otherwise will contact directly.

      Answer: We do not test our products on any animals.
    • Question: Does the natural cherry flavor contain monosodium glutamate (MSG)?

      Answer: "Natural flavors" (other than true natural vanilla extract, an essential oil like peppermint, cacao powder for a "chocolate" flavor, and so forth) *can* affect the brain in the same way as monosodium glutamate (MSG). I strongly recommend avoiding foods that have added flavoring regardless if it's natural (aside from true natural examples given here) or artificial if you are having or have had any symptoms of neurological issues. Be aware that natural flavors are in many health food store products, teas, and supplements.
    • Question: do any of ingredients come from China?

      Answer: Yes, I contacted and, unfortunately, the ascorbyl palmitate is sourced from China.
    • Question: My functional MD said i need to take sublingual Adeno. b12. as i don't absorb it. Could this work sublingually?

This delivery format may be more suitable for individuals who have trouble swallowing pills than standard tablets or capsules. On the other hand, sublingual delivery formats are designed to disintegrate in saliva very quickly â€" in about 30 seconds or less. We encourage you to consult with your practitioner to determine whether the Adeno B12 lozenges might be suitable for your specific needs, based on the recommendation you have been given.
    • Question: does this contain Biotin?

      Answer: According to the label on the bottle, this product does not contain biotin. It contains B-12 only, in the form of B-12 Adenosylcobolamin
    • Question: Is this a capsule or a lozenge? The product description switches back and forth between the two words.

      Answer: It is a chewable lozenge. My kids take it easily.
    • Question: This product says wheat free, but does not say gluten-free, is it?

      Answer: Since gluten is the protein found in wheat and various other grains, and it says wheat free and there are no other grains in the product based on the other ingredients you can safely assume it is gluten free. Based on the fact that it is being dissolved under the tongue and getting absorbed through the salivary gland it's not going through the normal GI tract either anyway.
    • Question: Has anyone using this product experienced weight gain? Thank you.

      Answer: Hello, The most common side-effects of B12 supplements are rash, itching, mild fever, and sometimes stomach upset. Individuals who have recently undergone surgery for a coronary stent should avoid using B12.     High quality b12 supplement that works for people who can't take the other forms!
    After YEARS of being low in b12, this supplement has finally made an impact. I methylate too fast, so cyanocobalamin and even hydroxo-b12 didn't work for me. This seems to work where the other forms failed.

    If you have MTHFR this is for you
    I have MTHFR issues, I’ve Been taking this almost a year and it works very well. Other forms of B12 really irritate me but this really helps with everything, can’t recommend enough

    Some issues with this type….
    I recently discovered that I have 2 single copies of common MTHFR genes, after years searching. I can tolerate this version of b-12 better, but a full dose will give me brain fog and make me light headed for a few hours. I cut the tablets in half, which is better. The side effects are more minimal, but the tablets don’t cut very easily, so there is some loss. I have some hydroxy b-12 on order and am anxious to try that. That’s supposed to be the most tolerable, but we’ll see.

    Taste good
    These have a pleasant grape flavor. They are tiny, so they dissolve quickly. I am glad for the opportunity to try the adeno-B12, but I find the methyl-B12 is more effective for me. The methyl version helps knock out a migraine during the aura phase for me. The Adeno version helps, too, but not as much. There’s definitely a different between how the two forms work, and it’s worth trying both to determine what is best for you.

    Inconsistency
    Ok so I've used this product for 3 years now and am a faithful customer to Seeking Health. I really admire Ben Lynch and his work. However, these last few bottles have been very inconsistent. I have low potassium so my b12 dose has to be exact... I can't have too much or it tanks my potassium and I have paralysis. There are days I've almost had to go to the hospital bc I take my usual dose, and it seems 10x stronger all of a sudden. Then some days it feels like I didnt take it at all? The sizes and colors vary too (I've attached a photo). I asked customer service at SH about this a few months ago and they were unfortunately not helpful. I will likely have to switch to another product bc of the inconsistency, and am really disappointed!
