Question: Does anyone know what percentage Arnica is in this Boiron gel? 10 % is considered pretty good. Less is not considered as effective.
Answer: i found an Arnica gel 50% tincture of fresh organic Arnica montana extract (a ration of 1:20). There are approximately 20 Arnica flower heads per tube. Each gram of gel contains 500 mg of Arnica montana extract. How does that compare? -
Question: About how quickly can it "dissolve" a typical small bruise on the arm, etc.?
Answer: The faster you apply the Arnica the better it works. My daughter bruises easily and if we can get arnica on right after she bumps into something, and then apply it about three more times that day, the bruise will be faint and only last a couple days, if it even shows up at all. She got her hand slammed in a car door and we put arnica on as soon as it happenwas d and applied it several times that day. It eased her pain and the bruise was a faint line instead of her whole hand being purple. We live this stuff, with three adventurous little people it is essential in our home. -
Question: Does it have a strong odor?
Answer: No. Zero odor. One might not feel anything ,just cold gel feeling when applied, not even tingling. The effect will be found later by pain being gone. The effect lasts quite a long time(not sure how long) 24hours? I can say at least 12 hours. It makes possible for me to travel long flight confined in narrow space on economy class cabin. -
Question: Does it remove inflammation and swilling such as in osteoarthritis or only temporarily relieve pain?
Answer: It is not a cure, but it does help relieve swelling and inflammation. I live with chronic pain from Fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis. I do get relief from them with this. It is temporary relief, but generally, for me I have relief for several hours from Arnica Gel. There's no unpleasant scent and I haven't seen where it stains my clothes like other rub ons. Question: It is fading the ugly broken veins on my leg, How does it work?? what is actually happening under the skin?

Answer: The instructions say repeat 3 times a day or as needed. I would reapply every few hours for the first day or two, then taper off as the bruise heals. -
Question: Is this safe to use on children?
Answer: It is an all natural product. I would feel safe using it on my grandchildren. I have some kidney issues and cannot use aspirin based products, but I can use this.
