Answer: Just confirming that you are correct. There is soybean oil in this product. Ingredients Soybean Oil, Gelatin, Vegetable Glycerin. Contains <2% of: Natural Caramel Color, Soy Lechitin, Titanium Dioxide Color. -
Question: I know vitamin A is stored in the liver, does anyone know if milk thistle breaks down or depletes the storages of it?
Answer: I have read a lot about the benefits of milk whistle, it's a liver supporter and detoxification for the liver and you can take it along with a good multiple vitamin if you wish. My brother-in-law saved his sick liver and healed it all to the amazement of his doctors. Please read the health benefits, it will amaze you. I am not aware of it taking away vitamin A. -

Answer: Thank you for your interest in Puritan's Pride products! The Milk Thistle 4:1 Extract 1000 mg is an extract that contains the herb minus the plant fiber in a concentrated liquid form. One softgel provides 250 mg from this 4:1 extract, which is equivalent to 1,000 mg of the whole herb. -
Question: What is with the soy? this is not a good ingredient! omg!
Answer: Soy is fine, but in VERY large doses can cause estrogen like effects in men. -

Answer: 250mg of seed. However, there is a 4:1 extraction that is equivalent to 1,000 mg of "whole herb". I am not chemist nor pharmacist but I am someone who uses this product daily. I sustained two separate attacks by venomous creatures inside the span of 8 months. The first a Copperhead snake that was young and as such delivered the entirety of its venom into my leg. The second was a Brown Recluse spider who's venom nearly cost me my left leg. My liver and kidneys took the brunt of the attacks causing my liver enzymes to skyrocket and eyes to show yellow. Although the poisons where dumped and stored in my liver, the Milk Thistle by Puritan's Pride helped my liver to flush these poisons and allow me to return to a healthier life. Answer: My best and heartfelt advice to you is not to seek help for your physical problems on the internet. If you have 'night terrors', you should talk to your doctor. Having said this, many people who suffer from nightmares often have blood sugar problems, so consulting with a doc will sometimes help with this. To answer your question about Milk Thistle, it is a natural help for cleansing the liver of excess fat and some drugs, waste that is filtered from the blood. I do not know you, your diet, other factors (like hormones or medications you may have been prescribed), so I cannot tell you if this will provide some relief (getting rid of toxins in the blood will sometimes help your body to get the rest you need) ... so long story short: See your doctor and don't ask strangers about whether some pill will help you. It is not a weakness or a crime to have nightmares. My best to you. I hope you find some relief. -
