Question: I'm confused. A couple comments say it only folds in one place & a couple comments say it folds twice???
Answer: Folds twice. Only about 3 feet long folded up so easy to carry -
Question: How high would this work effectively? Need a ramp for an elderly dog to get in/out of house. It would need to go over top of 4 steps
Answer: Four steps with this ramp will be no problem. It's long enough there won't be too much of an inclin -
Question: can we put two together to make it longer?
Answer: Not 100 per cent sure but probably not. Hinges might not be able to handle the extra tension. -
Question: Can it be used to load and unload a water heater into a cargo van using a hand truck or dolly
Answer: I believe the load capacity is 300 to 400 lbs, you may want to think about the height of the incline and possibly go to an 8’ or 10’ ramp. Hope this helps you -

Question: How do I secure ramp to back of my van and not damage my van
Answer: I don’t know how you would attach it without making holes in your bumper but it has two small holes on either end at each corner edge to put bolts/screws through. You may be able to loop a steel cable through the holes and attach it to something secure in the floor on your van interior and then put a towel or padding under the ramp between it and the bumper. Just thinking out loud, but without a proper handicap ramp installed in your van you would just be rigging up a convenient temporary solution so be careful. This ramp is designed more to assist with getting up a couple of stationary steps. -

Answer: Good ramp for 3 steps. Folding and unfolding a little award. Overall a good item. -
Question: How do you Lyft up to car
Answer: I unfold half and put the edge on the car bumper fastening it down with a small carriage bolt that I drilled 1/4 " holes for. Then I raise the remaining half (that is upside down on top of the piece I just bolted in place and then unfold it inserting the second carriage bolt. The first piece is the one on the passengers side of the car. To make the job easier I lay a piece of Masonite on the ground so the ramp can be slid into place more easily. It does weigh more than ten pounds. -
Question: Will this ramp work for an outdoor step that goes from my front walkway to front porch? There is one decent-sized step.
Answer: I used one to extend a front porch ramp, so yes this might work. as long as the angle is not too steep.
