Question: Concerning mthfr/compt/sult genes-does anyone prefer hydroxo. over adenosyl.-or vise versa?
Answer: Yes. According to 23andme/GeneticGenie, I'm both COMT v1258m/H62H +/+, so I need to get Hydroxy. When I get methyl-b12, I don't see the benefits like other people do. There is a page online at mthfrliving.com/health-tips/supplementing-for-mthfr-b12/ that tells you which could be the right for you, depending if you're +/+ both COMT and/or VDR Taq genes. If you're only +/- on these (or -/-), but you're +/+ on the 677 on MTHFR, then it's probably best to get methyl-b12. Disclaimer: I'm no doctor. -
Question: This was frozen due to weather when it arrived is it still ok?
Answer: Thanks for the responses. I contacted the company and they said exposure to cold would be ok- exposure to heat was more the problem. -
Question: Does this product contain sugar? What exactly is natural cherry flavor?
Answer: Xylitol is the sweetener; it does not contain sugar. My understanding is that "natural flavor" could be anything natural that has that flavor. It doesn't necessarily have to be derived from a cherry. Your guess it as good as mine. But I really like this product because it tastes great (I disolve under my tongue before swallowing), and I am only supposed to have stevia & xylitol for sweeteners on the diet I have to follow, and this is one of the rare products out that that doesn't have sugars or artificial sweeteners, so I am happy about that. Hope this helps. P.S. xylitol is a sugar alcohol, but doesn't get absorbed like a sugar...you can google it. -

Question: Will excessive heat from being in the back of a delivery truck for most of the day have a negative affect on this product?
Answer: From experience I have noticed that the product gets moisture/ with little spots while being in a humid environment, it could change the texture as well. In warm or hot environment I have not noticed anything. When ordering from the manufacturer the product has stayed in my mailbox in South Florida for 3 days and nothing had happened; it comes in a particular brown bag with some kind of insulation. Maybe that protects the product from hot or cold temperatures. Hope this is of assistance.
