Its unique multi-folding design allows the Silver Spring Aluminum Wheelchair Ramp to fold down to 1/4 of its usable size. Once folded, simply pull the safety release pin– the ramp will split into two feather-light sections, each with its own comfortable carrying handle. Question: I have 24 inches from my walk to the top of my porch will this work?
Answer: It will. It was hard for my 80 yr old mom with a walker though. Will hold wheel chair no problem well built -
Question: Is there a hinge in the middle of the ramp when it is open?? If so...how high is it?? I have a self locking bolt in the bottom the the wheel chair
Answer: Yes, there is, but you don't see it when it id open. A smooth surface. -
Question: Is the 30" rise adjustable on the 10' ramp?
Answer: I have no idea. I used it to transport my wheelchair bound father up 3 steps. Worked perfectly -
Question: I use a walker and need to go up a 20" rise (3 Steps) to get into my camper would a 10 foot ramp work? I weigh about 325lbs
Answer: Hi. As a suggestion, the ADA ramp specification requires 1:12 ramp slope (4.8 degrees slope). This equates to one foot of ramp per inch rise. In other words, for safety reasons per recommendation, you’ll need a 20’ ramp for 20” rise. The 10’ ramp I have is rated for 600 pounds and may be too steep for 20” rise. Hope this information helps. -
Question: Would it be safe to leave this ramp outside or does it need to be brought in each night?
Answer: It is designed for outside use around the clock.
