Its unique multi-folding design allows the Silver Spring Aluminum Wheelchair Ramp to fold down to 1/4 of its usable size. Once folded, simply pull the safety release pin– the ramp will split into two feather-light sections, each with its own comfortable carrying handle. Question: would this ramp work to assist a walker up a 3 step deck?
Answer: I think that this ramp may be a little too short to go up the 3 steps. You may want to get one that is almost 10 foot long? It would be a very steep incline if you get this tramp -
Question: what is the true weight od the 5 ft ramp? The specs say 14.4 lbs, but the smaller 4 ft weighs 25?
Answer: I don’t have it anymore. But I’m 77 and could pick it up by the handles and carry it a short distance. I hope that helps.
