    Durable and lightweight, this exclusive 9' long Silver Spring Multi-Fold Wheelchair ramp can accommodate up to 600 lbs. with rises up to 18" high. Compatible with all styles of wheelchairs, power chairs, and scooters currently on the market, this ramp is a safe and efficient way to navigate over daily obstacles, and provides a hassle-free way to enter and exit vehicles. Its unique multi-folding design allows the Silver Spring Aluminum Wheelchair Ramp to fold down to 1/4 of its usable size. Once folded, simply pull the safety release pin– the ramp will split into two feather-light sections, each with its own comfortable carrying handle. Included Velcro latches ensure the wheelchair ramps don't unfold when they're not needed.

    • Question: What is the actual width? The doorway has only a 28" opening. Seems most ramps are 30"?

      Answer: the actual width is 29.5 inch
    • Question: Where was this manufactured?

      Answer: There is a small adhesive sticker on the underside which says “Made in China”.
    • Question: Need to get occupied wheelchair in and out of house. There are 3 steps (total 14") and a threshold (2"). Can this ramp deal with a threshold?

      Answer: Our ramp did not last. Came apart. We degraded it. It may depend on your weight. Plan to shore it up with 2x4's.

    Good value; Recommended.
    Invaluable. I wanted to build a ramp but this purchase was much better. In use now for over six months. It is sturdy although it flexes enough to be noisy, probably because we used the supplied pins to anchor at the top. Wouldn’t flex if I bolted it to the threshold at the top.

    Great item for the cost
    This item is great. Love that it has option of folding one side up when not using. Could use some arm rails as it is not a good option for my elderly mother. She has to be assisted using it.

    Great to have exact 9’, but needs shoring up
    I liked that I could get the 9’ length, just right for dealing with the height and available space. Easy to store when folded up. Non-slip surface works, but careful of leaves getting ground into tread area. Downside: flexes under load, and made scary metallic popping noises when the motorized chair went up it (at about half its rated capacity). I thought it had broken welds from all that noise, but inspected it seems fine. I should have put something under the middle to help.

    Easy Install
    Easy to install. From un-packaging to install was less than 15 minutes. Very easy to install and very sturdy.

    Well built
    If you just need a ramp at times but not all the time this is the one for you. Just fold it up when not needed and unfold it when you do.

    Sturdy & Strong, Watch Your Fingers
    We are using this to get my mom in & out of the house in her wheel chair. We can also take this one when we visit family. Very sturdy & strong. Watch your fingers when folding & unfolding. Also, this is a 2 person job! The only downside is the velcro strips used to hold the ramp together when folded. Velcro doesn't like the outdoors. fyi, we we renting the same ramp for $148 a month. Then bought this (same) one for $300. Worth every penny.
