Question: I am a female and wear a size 11 shoe which profoot custom insole should I purchase male or female
Answer: I have used both and found the male insole better in terms of size and more importantly wear and tear. -
Question: My shoes are already pretty snug so I can't have any more heel or arch height. How thick are the heels on this insert?
Answer: the heels aren't super thick but if your shoes are snug it is possible these inserts would take up too much room to be comfortable. You can remove an insole in the shoe you want these for , if it has one, and replace it with this one and that might work. I really like these insoles and I walk a lot!! 5+ miles a day. -
Question: How are these for walking on concrete in a warehouse?
Answer: I can't say specifically for a very hard surface like a warehouse setting, but I do know I walk around 8 miles a day on NYC streets and they really help. I cant go a day without them, I totally feel the difference. Try them. I have been wearing them since my 2 surgeries years ago and they were recommended by both my doctor and my PT. -
Question: How long does it last the insoles?
Answer: I've used this product for years. They used to last me 6 months. The last 3 pairs have only made it 2 months before the heel gives out. -
Question: I'm a little unclear about whether one package includes a pair of inserts, or just one. Every other similar product is sold as a pair...
Answer: The inserts come one pair to a pack. My husband loves inserts and we will order them again in the near future.. -
Question: Do these go over your original insoles
Answer: That depends on how your shoe fits. If the shoe is tight then remove the original insole. -
Question: I am a mens size 7. should i get men's or women's?
Answer: I would suggest to get the men's. You can cut this insole's length to size but you may end up with narrow width if you get the women's. -
Question: How is the cushioning for the heel? would using something like the profoot plantar fasciitis heel insert with this product be advantageous?
Answer: I have never had heel problems, so I can't anser that question. -
Question: This product now seems to have been renamed 'Custom Insoles' instead of 'Custom Orthotic.' Is this exactly the same item?
Answer: Have both, and they appear to be the same. I do not feel any difference.
