Question: Can this mop be safely used with vinegar & hot water (which I use to clean my wood floors)? Other brands cannot.
Answer: I believe so. If you are displeased for any reason, I accept returns, hassle free. -
Question: Is it easy to ring out the water and does it ring out well? I have hardwood floors and don't want excess water.
Answer: Yes. The handle to sqeeze the sponge is easy to operate and the sponge folds in half when squeezed. It rings out well. I use it on my hardwood floors. I like it. I had another mop that fell apart and the sponge held too much water. This one is sturdy. -
Question: Can it be used on bathroom floor tiles?
Answer: For sure. It’s just this mop is better on wood floors than a regular mop. I use it on wood and stone floorings. -
Question: Can this mop be used on an oiled hardwood floor?
Answer: Sorry, my wife has only used the mop on regular hardwood floors. I would guess that if you used the mop on oiled hardwood floors you would have to change heads quite frequently. -
Question: How do you replace the sponge?
Answer: I will admit that it is not obvious how to replace the sponge. But, to change it, press down on the lever on the handle. This will open the sides of the mop which hold the sponge. You can then take the sponge out. To replace the sponge, do the reverse to close the sides of the mop to secure the mop head. -
Question: Does this mop work on laminate floors
Answer: not sure, haven't tried it on mine. But seems it would work -
Question: What is the identifying code for the replacement sponge that fits this mop? How do I know which replacement sponge will fit this mop?
