Question: Is this less abrasive than the one advertised as low whitening Pronamel toothpaste?
Answer: Yes, I like this one the most for sensitive teeth, protecting against acids, and hardening enamel. The whitening one with white cap made my teeth more sensitive, and the blue cap fresh breath one was very strong tasting to the point it is unpleasant. I have to remind myself to get the light green top. I would want more whitening, but it's not worth teeth hurting. -

Answer: Sorry to take so long, but wondered about this question. If the person wished to know about a specific tube I purchased, it is long gone with its box recycled. I used it because that batch had calcium carbonate, that helps preserve tooth surfaces and helps with sensitive teeth. Lately Sensodyne seems to be relying on potassium nitrate to numb sensitive teeth and no longer has the calcium carbonate (which you can add by chewing up a calcium pill, & it does seem chalky until you spit/rinse, which is exactly the point & you can keep a favorite flavor). Another customer asked about this brand in bulk but, as I read that earlier question, it seemed that the bulk purchase was of unboxed tubes at a bargain price. I never touch a product out of its sealed packaging. As for this person, I took some time to look at Sensodyne Fresh Mint in a couple of stores and the boxes had an expiration date of 8/2017. -

Answer: not in my experience...you may be allergic to some ingredient in the toothpaste. -

Answer: I am one user who wishes that the SENSODYNE toothpaste box would have plastic around it, because the tube itself has never had a seal, for tamper evidence.
