      Answer: It is not meant to be leaned on. It is meant for a blind person to hold out in front of them to find obstacles.
    • Question: Can you add a ball on the tip of the cane?

      Answer: There is a small ball at the end of the cane, but you probably can add one if needed.

    Easy to open!
    This white cane for the blind folds easily and opens smoothly. It doesn't stick at all. It was supposed to be an extra cane in case I lost the main one. It's light weight and easy to open so now it's the one I use everyday, and my old one sits in the closet as the back up cane. :)

    DO NOT USE AT NIGHT, WITHOUT APPLOYING HIGH REFLECTIVE RED, and WHITE TAPE TO THIS CANE, OR YOU MAY BE KILLED BY TRAFFIC!
    You must buy a roll of reflective safety tape to apply to this cane. If you don't, you run the risk of being run over by a car, if you go out at night. You'll need a roll of white, and a roll of red reflective tape. You want to look for the kind of reflective tape that shows up brightly in car headlights. I compared this cane with my old one, which had reflective tape on it. This one does not. It failed to show up at all when light was shined onto it. So, off I go, to the DIY shop for reflective tape! The cane is easy to assemble, and disassemble. It uses a bungee cord to hold it's self together. By the way, I'm partly sighted, so that's how I ran the test, mentioned above. I use the cane to let traffic know I have extremely low vision.

    Europa Folding Cane
    We like it very much....just the right length. It is easy to fold and secure.

    Need to be able to get proper tip.
    Ordered 2 because the local cane shop happened to be appointment only after no updates on their site to let anyone know. But one tip was pencil and a roller on the other one, I greatly prefer the pencil tip myself so a bit disapointed in the random tip for the second i got. Also the sockets seem a tad loose compared to my prior cane but not terrible.
