Question: Has anyone tried washing aluminum clad cookware with these? CR says it won't discolor aluminum, but is it really true?
Answer: Not sure about Aluminum. But the All Clad stainless steel cookware does OK every once in a while, but the copper doesn't like dishwashers. And the All Clad cookware company doesn't recommend dishwashers. At least this product(non-gel) was better tolerated than Cascade on my cookware. -
Question: I notice my powerball tabs have green speckles in them before I put them in my dishwasher, is that normal? I just bought this two weeks ago. Could it be mold?
Answer: The way they are sealed I don't know how mold could get in there. Also, if it were damp enough for mold I would think that the tab itself would be crumbling. I apologize for not being much help. -
Question: are these individually wrapped?
Answer: they are completely individual "balls" which come directly out of the box into your dishwasher. They are great. No mess, no measuring, out of box, into dishwasher. -
Question: Are these fragrance free?
Answer: I doubt it, but I don’t notice any fragrance when I empty out the dishwasher. I don’t like fragrance in cleaning products/laundry detergent etc., so I would have noticed a strong fragrance. -
Question: I have the compact size Bosche Dishwasher, can theses be cut in half?

Question: I don't have to open individual packets on cascade. i'm concerned i would find opening one of these packets each time a nuisance. comments?
Answer: There are no packets to open, just drop it in -
Question: Septic tank safe?
Answer: Box says it is. -
Question: My dishwasher label says to not use detergents that have a rinse aid included. I am using a rinse aid in the separate cup. Would this be a problem?
Answer: I have a GE Profile dishwasher and have had no problem with using the Finish Powerballs--the codicil to this being I have only been used them four times, so I can't speak to any negative long-term effects. I am happy with the look of the dishes as they seem cleaner and shinier than when I used the liquid or granule type of detergent. I hope this helps. -
Question: Do these tabs have to be unwrapped or do you put them directly from the box into the dishwasher
Answer: Unwrap this product but I wouldn't recommend this because my dishes were still dirty and smell. The liquid is better and my dishes are clean and smell better -
Question: Is this all that's needed for a dishwashing load? My current pods are 3 different colors/ingredients. Is this all in one?
