Question: Will this fit 7/8?
Answer: I have used these tips at least 8 years. I found silicone lubricant works best. It is a tight fit. Get it started and then tamp it down by banging the crutch tip on a hard surface. I'm handicapped and this works better ,for me, than any other method. -
Question: how many per one order ?
Answer: You only get one in each order, in case you want to put it at the bottom of a cane .I ordered 2 and put them on the bottom of my crutches after foot surgery , and they were amazing! So much more stability to get around short distances without the knee scooter. -
Question: For optimum functionality, does it matter whether the + is inline or X the crutch?
Answer: Not sure that it matters either way. -
Question: What's the weight capacity for 2 of them on crutches
Answer: I'm not sure if they have a rated weight as crutches & canes do. I have mine on a forearm crutch and have excellent performance and no noticeable wear. I've almost had 2 falls while walking on wet surfaces and the crutch/ergo saved me from both with no slipping. As for the weight limits, I weigh just shy of 300 lbs and cannot say anything negative about it. Well worth the cost. I hope that helps. -
Question: Is the tip also called the cuff
Answer: I wouldn’t think so. The tip is the piece that meets the floor or ground. -
Question: Can it be installed on hiking stick?
Answer: Yes it could be. The inside dimension is 3/4 of an inch. My crutches are 7/8 so I boiled water and dipped the top of the cap into boiling water then applied it to the crutch. It went on with a little encouragement. It will be easier if the hiking stick end is smooth however. -
Question: Do you make a 1 inch diameter option?
