      Answer: Not a strong mint.

      Answer: The size I bought came in a sealed box—no safety seal. There may be different sizes with different packaging.

      Answer: I don't have veneers but, I would assume it's good.
    • Question: Is this toothpaste SLS free?

      Answer: According to Sensodyne's website, yes, Pronamel Daily Protection IS SLS free.
    • Question: Need to know type of flouride used in pronamel. ?Stannous or Sodium Fluoride as they use both but stannous is far more effective

    • Question: Has anyone used this with a whitening product? Does it work?

      Answer: All I know is that the product work for sensitive teeth. I have never used a whitening product.

    This is the "Real Deal"
    It's so hard to find the right toothpaste for sensitive teeth because even Sensodyne misleads their customers with the ingredients. THIS TOOTHPASTE CONTAINS POTASSIUM NITRATE AS THE ACTIVE INGREDIENT! Potassium Nitrate is what ACTUALLY HELPS take the sensitivity away for those of us with sensitive teeth. Only half of Sensodyne products contain Potassium Nitrate and the other half (along with Crest Sensitive, Colgate Sensitive and many others) list Stannous Fluoride as the active ingredient. That does not work for sensitivity IF YOU ALREADY HAVE SENSITIVE TEETH. If you have healthier teeth and are trying to PREVENT FUTURE SENSITIVITY then the claims are accurate. But, if you CURRENTLY EXPERIENCE sensitivity issues, you need to buy a toothpaste that contains the Potassium Nitrate. This can easily be found on the box in the ingredients and should be listed in bold under Active Ingredients. Unfortunately, for those of us shopping online that can be hard to find. It took me almost 20 minutes to go through all the products because my normal go-to Sensodyne was out of stock. This is my first time trying this particular one and I have to say I like it. It helps with the sensitivity and makes my mouth feel extra clean. The only thing I wish is that there was more of a freshness factor. I like a toothpaste that when done you can have that minty fresh breath but this isn't it. It's actually hard to find in a paste for sensitive teeth so I'm just going to assume that those ingredients used can cause a little irritation or something. Otherwise, this is a great paste and now my #2 go-to with REAL sensitivity relief. JUST BE SURE TO READ THE LABELS BEFORE BUYING SENSODYNE, ESPECIALLY ONLINE.

    Good toothpaste
    Although the "freshness" of the mint flavor of this toothpaste is pretty aggressive, it is a very good choice for people with sensitive gums. I have found myself wanting to brush more often because of this product. Buy it!

    Pronamel Sensodyne Toothpaste for Sensitive Teeth (Mintessence)
    I always buy Pronamel toothpaste for it's quality & make; protects sensitive teeth; MIntessence is excellent choice because it's refreshing & does not make your mouth feel dry after brushing, no matter how many times a day you want to brush your teeth.
