Question: Is the maltodextrin from a gluten free source? Is this product gluten free?
Answer: Maltodextrin is derived from corn, rice, potato starch, wheat. The way it is processed renders the wheat gluten free. It does increase gut bacteria in a way that can irritate the gut for people with autoimmune conditions. It has a higher Glucose index than table sugar. Basically, they added sugar to the product to make it taste better. -
Question: Is this really a real extract, or just juice powder?
Answer: It says "juice powder" so I'm assuming it's from pressed elderberries , which is a liquid then dried. Either way is going to come from a liquid first. -
Question: How many mgs of Elderbery are you getting per serving?????
Answer: One serving (equal to half a teaspoon) is one gram (1000 mg) of 10:1 powder. If you only want 500 mg, then just use a quarter teaspoon as a serving. Or of course if you want to double the serving, then use a full teaspoon. There are 226 servings of the half-teaspoon size per container. -
Question: Has anyone tried the liquid nature's answer elderberry? if is the flavor of this elderberry comparable to that one or better?

Answer: I drank this once per day and it made a big difference.
