    Customer Questions & Answers

    • Question: what is the clearance on the ramps how high does the lips on the side come up

Answer: Top part 11/4" bottom part 11/2" since the top slides into the bottom. These are made for a wheel chair so it won't roll off them if that is your worry.
    • Question: To be clear, this compacts down to just over 3 feet in length? That would be excellent if I am reading this correctly

Answer: Actually, I have the 7 foot ramps and not the 5 foot ones. However, the 7 foot ramps reduce down to about 4 feet in length so I'm sure that the 5 foot ramps would reduce down to abvout 3 feet.
    • Question: is this sold by the pair or by each piece

Answer: It's sold by the pair.
    • Question: Can these be used on a staircase of five steps?

Answer: I used them over 3 step outside the house. I would say inside steps would be no different. My question would be the pitch.
    • Question: How do you avoid them slipping when pushing a wheelchair down steps?

Answer: The patient I purchase them for is 5'9 weighs over 200 lbs I have 3 cement steps all I do is lay them down and they stay in place the don't slip.
    • Question: Can these be left outdoors?

Answer: You could...however I wouldn't recommend it. These aren't intended to replace a permanent ramp, more of a set up and use when necessary. You wouldn't want rust or any other debris to compromise the integrity of the ramp. I own the large ramp that telescopes out to 10ft. They are pretty easy to slide open, assemble and then take down to store inside. We use them to transport my Great Grandma to her doctor appointments. We set them up and then after returning take them down and stow away. Not sure what size you have, but as a 30 year old male I have no problem setting this up by myself and it doesn't require any help from anyone else.
    • Question: how does the top of this ramp fit onto a concrete porch?

Answer: It's angled on top and bottom with an anchor pin to keep it from sliding you will need to drill a hole in the concrete for the pin though.
    • Question: What is the return policy?

      Answer: Unknow off hand.
    • Question: When the ramps are fully extended, there is a lip and the wheelchair is hard to push up. Did anyone else come across that problem?

Answer: I just checked mine and there is a lip that could cause problems for some but I haven't had any problems. How high is the steps you are trying to go up? Code is I think for every inch of rise you need a foot of ramp. There are three different ones to use, 1" 2" 3" depending how they are used. These ramps are suppose to be used for a 12" to 14" rise or step. Any more than that is going to be hard to push up. Either that or turn the wheel chair around. I have a 24" rise and I am suppose to use ramps 24' long but I don't use them for a wheel chair so it doesn't matter on the length. How high is it from the ground to the top of the steps? 1 step 2 steps 3 steps or 4 steps? The end with the pin goes to the top step.

10' Adjustable Wheelchair Telescoping Track Ramps reviews by customers

Good product with a very irritating flaw
The ramps do what I expected. HOWEVER the process to extend them is a problem. The release buttons are extremely difficult to depress, and once down they do not want to extend ofter the ramps are extended. In short, the ramps get an A, especially considering the price. The extension processed s solid D.

    These are perfect
I keep these ramps in my vehicle all the time to move my electric wheelchair in and out. They are lightweight, easy to maneuver, yet very sturdy. They've been the perfect answer for moving the wheelchair. Absolutely genius telescoping feature that works like a charm.

    Not recommended
I feel they weren’t really safe, the have done the job, but would never recommend them to anyone.

    ARRIVED WITH A MANUFACTURING DEFECT
I haven't used these yet but they seem sturdy. There are yellow plastic pieces on the ends to protect the corners from scratching other surfaces or they may be bumpers. Not sure yet. One of them is cracked and displaced from excessive pressure on rivets when they were assembled (see picture). Not happy with their quality control.

    It arrived damaged
The product arrived bent on end and that caused the spring button not to depress so I can't extend ramp. I will try to hammer bent end back and see if that releases the spring button to loosen ramp. If it releases I will keep it otherwise I will return it.

    Telescoping ramps
They are sturdy even when extended all the way. BUT they are hard to open and close and they are very heavy! I do not recommend if you have trouble lifting things.
