Question: What are the exact ingredients???
Answer: Phenozyethanol is not a chemical. Phenoxyethanol is a chemical. It is protective against bacteria and candida albicans, and is a safer alternative to formaldehyde preservatives. Is is NOT GLYCOL. P.S. glycol refers to a class of chemical compounds containing 2 hydroxyl groups. Glycols are very, very common. Some are harmful. Some aren't. Phenoxyethanol does reversibly inhibit NMDA receptors, which operate ion channels in neurons. This can be medicinal in some adults, or totally harmless with negligible effect in small concentrations, or neurotoxic in large concentrations. It's at the bottom of the list of ingredients in this product, meaning it is a small concentration. In fact, it's limited to 1% here. BUT babies are tiny and vulnerable, with different brain and skin and immune functions to those of an adult. We should be careful to keep NMDAR inhibitors (even reversible ones like phenoxyethanol) out of a baby's nervous system. It may be best to keep away from wipes containing phenoxyethanol because it can absorb through skin, especially the rectum, and may be harmful to a baby's rapidly developing brain. Not because it is a solvent! Water is a solvent, oil is a solvent... solvents are just compounds that can dissolve other compounds, and they're necessary for life. -
Question: Are they flushable?
Answer: No, they need to be disposed of not flushed. However, these wipes are 99.2% natural, and are more than worth taking that small extra step of throwing them away. I absolutely love these wipes and wouldn't use anything else on my baby. She's 9 months old and I've been using them since she was born. She's not once has had a rash or skin irritation. -

Question: is this made with bees?
Answer: No, not exactly sure how babies would react if the wipes were made with bees but after trial and error you will return to the Burt’s bee’s wipes because they are a better then anything else on the market…
