Question: Are these gauze rolls 100% cotton?
Answer: It says on the box that it's rayon/polyester blend. Hope that helps. -
Question: Does the gauze contain latex?
Answer: According to the package the flexible gauze is made from a mixture of rayon and polyester. No mention of latex hopefully this helps you. -
Question: Is this fsa approved?
Answer: First, let me state that I am a nurse, not a tax accountant. From what I understand, if you have a condition for which you are followed by a doctor who prescrbes rolled gauze to be used in treatment of said condition, one can include this item in your FSA. Example: If you have a wound (I.e.- ulcer, burn, surgical wound) that doctor states must be wrapped with this type of gauze roll, it can be covered in your HSA. Always best to consult with your tax consultant. Even though you will be buying this valid medical supply "over-the-counter" from a supplier, as long as a doctor states the item in his treatment plan, it should be eligible for FSA. -
Question: Latex free?
Answer: I don't see any indication that it is latex-free. But then again, if it contained latex, I would think they would mention it. I thought it was 100% cotton. I recommend you check the Johnson & Johnson web site for additional details. -
Question: Are fhe rolls individually packaged?
Answer: I believe they are.. I used them all yet i seem to think they were. -
Question: Is each roll 2.1 yards, or is this the total of all rolls combined?
Answer: According to the item description: "From the #1 doctor recommended brand, Band-Aid Brand of First Aid Sterile Gauze comes in a roll 3 inches by 2.1 yards in a 5 count value pack." That seems accurate to me, as I've used this item. This gauze is nice and soft, & I always keep some on hand. -
Question: are there boxes of J &J with more rolls?
Answer: Not that I have found. My injury is my Achilles’ tendon. I wear a bandage everyday one box lasts me 10 days. -
Question: What is the width of the gauze?
Answer: The width of the gauze is 3 inches. I also find this one very soft and comfortable. -
Question: can you apply this gauze directly to a wound or does it need to have a bandage in between?
Answer: We've always applied it directly to a wound with the topical medication on the gauze beforehand. -
Question: What is the thickness of this gauze?
Answer: It's not thiccc, its thic with 1 "c". You could layer it to be a thiccc boi though. But it's not the thicccness of the bandage that counts, it's the thicccness of your heart.
