Rolling over stairs, up to a ledge, or into a vehicle will now be an even easier and safer task than before. Featuring the same high-traction surface of the Silver Spring portable scooter ramp, the ramp extension provides a seamless ramp-to-ramp transition, gripping the scooter wheels from start to finish. 1.375" tall side rails help keep the mobility scooter on track, and the 29.375" width fits snugly into the 30" wide ramp (sold separately). Installation hardware is included to properly secure the ramp extension to the ramp. The scooter ramp extension folds compactly in half and features a rubber handle for effortless transport. |

Question: Can i attach 2 2 foot exrensions to the 12 foot ramp?
Answer: I bought one of the extensions and it does not even attach to the ramp. It just laid flat on the ground. Since there was no purpose, I felt it wasn't worth the money so I returned it -

Question: I have 8 steps going down how long of a ramp do i need
Answer: Eight steps depending on the rise will require a long (12 - 15 foot) long ramp. Google the many resources for this, an example: https://mobilitybasics.ca/wheelchair-ramps/slope1 Probably will need to construct a ramp, a fold up make not be long enough, the slope would be too steep for a wheelchair. Mobility companies offer prefabbed aluminum ramps that will work well. Another choice is a platform lift, takes up less space and is easy to use. I like Mac's Lift. www.macsliftgate.com Good luck! -

Answer: Yes it is strong enough to bridge a small step and ride a scooter over it. -
Question: will this extention fit a prairie view industry ramp
Answer: I don't own the model ramp you are asking about but this is a quality product. I use it on the ramp of my scooter carrier when the angle is too steep to "ride-up" on. This extension just lays towards the bottom of my ramp and allows the scooter to easily ascend. It stays in place without attaching. -
Question: Can you use this ramp with the person in the wheelchair or is it for only useage of a laoding a empty wheelchair ?
Answer: We use this ramp to wheel my daughter (in her wheelchair) into the house. We use it in our garage rather than the front steps. We haven't had any problems with all of us on the ramp and we have had it about 2 years now. Hope this helps.
