Question: Have anyone uses this for acne?
Answer: i have not tried taking this internally for acne, but i have used evening primrose carrier oil which i then added essential oils of juniper berry, lemon, and grapefruit to and applied topically and that helped tremendously... but be advised that anytime you are attempting to treat acne or any condition with a natural supplement or herbal remedy, essential oil... you need to allow a minimum of 6-8 weeks for the product to begin having any effect... natural can be extremely effective, but it also takes a much gentler and slower approach that requires patience in the beginning! give it 3 months first! -
Question: It says high potency- but wondering how bioavailable these are..??
Answer: 3 soft gels = evening primrose oil 1,180mg providing: Linoleic acid1560mg GLA 140mg If you are using for hormone balance, I do 1 softgel morning and night. Vit E is more important. 400mg 3x day. make sure it's the natural version not synthetic. example Tocopherol is natural. Tocopheryl is synthetic -
Question: What is this good for
Answer: It’s good for women who are in menopause for healthy skin in the aging process. It also helps in eliminating aches and stiffness in the joints from the aging process. If I don’t use it, I wake up with stiff fingers and aches in my joints. -
Question: Are these vegan?
Answer: No, it is not vegan. The gelatin is kosher which means it came from an animal. -
Question: Does anyone know if these contain phytoestrogens? I know it does not say it on the label but I’ve been trying to contact the company and get no answer
Answer: I think (my opinion) a small percentage of phytoestrogens because it helps in 2 days with pre menopause and doesn’t increase your weight as it would if u had a large portion of phytoestrogen. It’s been helping with my weight loss. The product basically levels out your balance. -
Question: What does it smell like?
Answer: It hardly has a smell. -
Question: Can the oil be used directly on the skin or taken internally only. I'd like to use it as a supplement and on my skin. Thanks!
Answer: Hi Deb, I have just been taking it orally two times a day b/4 meals and I am not sure what the benefits are to applying the oil to your skin. I have noticed a positive difference in my skin, nails and hair by taking it this way. I would look into it to see how it would absorb if you put it directly on your skin. I have used Vitamin E capsules directly to the skin to help heal/diminish scars. Hope this helped:-) -
