Question: how long does it take to work?
Answer: Seems to work rather quickly...a day at most. Take every day and it keeps you regular. Recommended to me by a dr. -
Question: I’ve been using the liquid milk of magnesia but hate the taste. Do these work the same?
Answer: The caplets are tasteless and the ingredients are similar (caplets = magnesium oxide; milk of magnesia = magnesium hydroxide). They both work on the principle that relatively insoluble magnesium compounds in doses > 400mg are accelerated through the human digestive tract. They are much gentler than stimulative laxatives like Senna. The effect varies between people so take the equivalent dose in terms of "magnesium" content to get similar results. "Stool Softeners" (docusate sodium) are an even, gentler alternative for some because they increase the water in your stool rather than "pushing" material thru your intestines. -
Question: Is each tablet the equivalent of one tablespoon of Milk of Magnesia liquid?
Answer: On the Milk of Magnesia bottle, it says each tablespoon is 1200 mg of magnesium hydroxide. On the caplet bottle, it says each caplet contains 500 mg of magnesium oxide, so they are not the equivalent. -
Question: what kind of magnesium
Answer: I don't know what kind of magnesium. It did not work for my child very long. nothing seems to. We are using a bran, applesauce, prune juice concoction right now that is working. wish I could be of more help. -
Question: Where made in 2020? China?
Answer: On the bottom of the box that the bottle of caplets came in is printed: "Made in the USA of US & Imported Materials". There is no date of manufacture on the box or the bottle. There is an expiration ("EXP") date on the bottle. On my bottle, purchased on February 20th the EXP is 9/21. -

Answer: I think if you take more than what they say you should. I think it’s possible that you can lose weight. But I wouldn’t take more than what it saids on the bott -

Answer: Not to my knowledge though the product may be regulated in different areas of the country. -
Question: Are you able to ground it up?
Answer: I have never ground it but it seems to be a tablet that you could. I would check with a local pharmacist to make sure it’s not a problem to take it that way. -
Question: how long do you have to take them for? Is it something that needs to be purchased regularly?
Answer: These are for occasional use. You shouldn't use a laxative for long. -
Question: How much sugar is in phillips
Answer: Omg really? It gives you diarrhea and poop everything out and you’re worried about the sugar??
