      Answer: Thank you for your question Rebecca. The Red-B-Gone is not safe for cast iron cookware.
    • Question: Can i use this on carpet?

      Answer: yep
    • Question: The description states "...without using hazardous acids." - does this mean that it's not using oxalic acid? if so what is this? is it pet/plant safe?

      Answer: Thank you for your question. The Red-B Gone does not contain oxalic acid. Red-B-Gone contains citric acid, sodium hydrosulfite and sodium bisulfite. Red-B-Gone is safe when used as directed.
    • Question: Is this a powder or liquid?

      Answer: It is a powder. It says to dilute before using in washing machine, but I have rubbed it directly on blood and rust stains on white fabrics and have been happy with the result.

      Answer: Excellent query. I only wish I could answer it with any certainty. I will check before using the product again.

    Removed brown water stains from laundry but wrote off colored clothing
    Got this for brown water stains on laundry due to brown water from taps over summer. Works great, but also takes the color out of colored laundry so only use on whites! Slate grey towels went brown and a blue towel went pink!

    Great product
    This worked great. I did a lot of white clothes and realized after that they must have flushed the fire hydrants so the whole load was brown. I ordered this because I couldn’t find it available in any stores local and it took a couple days so I did have to keep everything soaking in water so it didn’t dry. As soon as this came in I threw it in the wash with the clothes and all the rust stains came out. It’s a good product to have on hand.
