Question: Will these fit a 2" diameter forearm crutch?ch
Answer: Hi Katherine, Wow, I've used crutches for more than 40 years and I don't think I've ever come across a 2' diameter crutch (almost all that I know of are 7/8 of an inch diameter or less). The inner diameter of the Ergocap is about 3/4 of an inch, and can be stretched so as, with effort, probably accommodate close to 1" diameter crutches, but 2" diameter ... nope. Are you sure these are 2" diameter crutches? Hope this answers your question. Blessings. -
Question: Do these tips leave black marks on tile flooring?
Answer: These are the best tip I have found. They will not leave any markings on any wood or tile floors. Also I feel more secure with these tip Thani ever did with tip that come on crutches. Any person who has to use crutches should have a set of these tip. Once you have a pair you will not go back to the regular tips. -
Question: Will this fit a walking stick about 5/8"?
Answer: Yes. Having said that, there are better and cheaper crutch tips out there that will also fit your walking sticks (You can also read my review of the Ergocap crutch tips). -
Question: How well do these stabilize? I'm extremely scared of falling because it could completely undo my surgery.
Answer: I have these on two sets of crutches. I have been on crutches since 1991 and I love these feet. I haven't had a slip yet with these. They grab all surfaces and are very durable. They won't come off even if you try since they were a bear to put on. Canes and the like would be easier, but crutches are tough. 1 to 5 stars i give them a 5+ -
Question: I use the in motion forearm crutches will these work with them
Answer: They should. My son use forearm crutches and they work well for him. You just have to be sure you get the correct diameter. I thought they were all the same but they are not. We also used these on a small chair, that we use for him, as a shower chair. -
Question: I'm in the process of buying DMI crutches in one screen but really want a pair of the ergo cap tips - but will they fit?
Answer: i dont think that will work. but if you were to buy light weight four arm cruthces it will work
