Powered by Clorox Bleach, this mold and mildew disinfectant spray delivers a powerful clean without scrubbing and kills 99.9% of common bacteria found in homes such as Staph, Strep and Athletes foot fungus. It penetrates and lifts off soap scum with detergent-type surfactants to kill the mildew lurking below the surface. This mold and mildew remover spray is safe to use on glazed and unglazed ceramic tile, grout, vinyl, fiberglass, and plastic. Use this no scrubbing bleach cleaner to clean and disinfect tubs, shower doors, vinyl shower curtains, counter tops, no wax floors and sinks. It eliminates mold and mildew quickly and effectively, and with this bottle's Smart Tube technology you are guaranteed to spray every drop. Spray your way to sparkling clean with Clorox Plus Tilex. Usage Directions: Spray tile cleaner on glazed ceramic tile, grout, tubs, fiberglass, shower doors, vinyl shower curtains, sinks and no-wax floors. After mildew stains disappear, rinse well. Rinse immediately after use on rubber, vinyl and items such as shower curtains. To disinfect and kill mold and mildew on hard, nonporous surfaces, spray surface until thoroughly wet, let stand 5 minutes and rinse. Do not use on wood or painted surfaces, or on fabric. Avoid prolonged contact with metal and old porcelain. Caution Statements: Do not mix with chemicals that contain ammonia. Moderate eye irritant. Mild to moderate skin irritant. If contact occurs, rinse with water for 15 minutes. Exposure to vapor mist may irritate eyes, nose, throat, and or lungs. Use in well ventilated areas and avoid prolonged exposure. Harmful if swallowed. If swallowed, have person sip glassful of water; call 911 or poison control center immediately for further treatment advice. |

Question: Do you have to scrub or can you just wash off
Answer: Spray, let it sit, and then wash off. Of course, if you have a lot of mold, you will have to scrub. But then you can go into maintenance mode and just spray several times a week and then wash. -
Question: Is this safe to use on glass shower doors and their metal hinges?
Answer: Yes it is. -
Question: Can you use it on natural, uncoated stone, specifically slate?
Answer: I would say no. Slate is porous and it may stain. For mold, (on the roof etc.) try a dilute solution of 1/2 bleach and 1/2 water( in a spray bottle) but test an area first. -
Question: can tilex be used on vinyl boat sear
Answer: For example, many people try using bleach, but it is too harsh for vinyl and will cause it to break down over time, becoming more easily damaged by everyday wear and tear. With bleach, you also run the risk of bleaching any fabrics nearby or carpeting on your boat. Water: Use clean, fresh water to clean your seats. -
Question: Will Tilex discolor grout?
Answer: I’ve been using it in my shower for years and I haven’t noticed any change in grout color -
Question: Can I use this on a carpet?
Answer: This stuff smells like straight bleach so I wouldn’t use it on carpets. The smell is really strong, stings my eyes. -
Question: Does the work removing hair dye around the shower?
Answer: Very likely it might; when I used it, removed every little dark spot (I never used hair dye though) -
Question: Is clorox telex mold and mildew remover a disinfectant for bacteria and viruses comparable to clorox disinfectant wipes?
Answer: This is extremely powerful, it's very toxic... You need to use it in a ventilated area and never be in contact with your skin. We only use it for mold remover.
