Question: Does this help with period cramps
Answer: I’m not sure if it helps with period cramps. For sure, it helps with night leg cramps but I take the pills in conjunction with applying an particular ointment to my calves. -
Question: What is the difference between this produce and the one labeled PM?
Answer: I never took these but as a nurse usually the pm has ingredient to help you sleep. The ones that are quick desolve with no pm on it can be taken as indicated but no sleep aid. I found i didn't need the pm because of the quuck action of the quick dissolve tablets relieves my leg cramps so well i went back to sleep on my own. Also note probably you would want to take the pm ones before bedtime and can't have anymore all night. The quick dissolve can be repeated in a short while i believe 15 minutes until cramp relieved three times in a row. Check bottle. I like the qu8ck ones for this reason. Hope this help -
Question: We purchased hylands - leg cramps w/quinine (100tablets) a few years ago from you. does this product have quinine in it?
Answer: Hyland’s Leg Cramps tablets continue to contain Cinchona Officinalis, which is Peruvian Bark and the natural form of quinine, as an active ingredient. They updated the packaging in 2012 and removed the word “quinine” from the packaging of Hyland’s Leg Cramps. The formula remains the same. -
Question: Are these Gluten free?
Answer: From the Manufacturer: "While the vast majority of Hyland's products are not formulated with ingredients that are a source of gluten, they are manufactured in the same facility as a handful of Hyland's products (Calms, Calms Forte, and Avena Sativa) that do contain gluten. Without testing against the FDA's new standard of gluten-free, Hyland's cannot definitively say that any of their products are gluten-free. Question: These are not vegan. They contain lactose. Do you have any products that are cruelty-free?
Answer: The pills are very tiny and they dissolve under your tongue. I don't know if there's any lactose in them. However if a little bit like that is more important to you than your leg cramps going away I'd say that you'd have to make the decision yourself whether or not it's worth not taking them. They do work. -
Question: What is the typical expiration date for these pills?
Answer: In the US, the FDA has exempted homeopathic manufacturers from putting expiration dates on their product labels. Homeopathic medicines, when stored properly (away from moisture and excessive heat or cold), can be used for many years. However, if you notice the appearance of the medicine has changed, you should replace it. Question: Does this product have Quinine in it? If so, I don't want it
Answer: That's what this product is all about. Quinine in the proper dose works wonders for leg cramps, as I have suffered with them for years until I discovered this product. You may have read negative things about it, but doctors DO recommend it as a cramp reliever. -
Question: Does NO expiration date mean they will be effective for at least 2-3 years from purchase date?
Answer: I don't use them very often. So I bought a bottle several years ago and it sat in my drawer for about 4 years maybe 5. When I do get leg cramps at night I take them and they still work fine. So I'm guessing that the expiration date is more a legal thing and to cover them in case somebody stores them in a bad location. My inner kept to the nightstand drawer in the dark and it's relatively cool in the bedroom . So from my experience it seems to work fine even 4 years old. -
Question: Is this one big bottle or smaller separate packets in the box?
Answer: The boxes say 100 tablets in each bottle. -
Question: Does this product have Quinine in it? If so, I don't want it
Answer: No I don't believe it has Quinine in it. It is not listed on the label. I highly recommend this product. When I wake up at night with a cramp in my leg or foot, I grab it from the nightstand and put 2 small pills under my tongue and the pain is gone within 1-3 mins. The pills have no unpleasant taste and don't require water, they just dissolve.
