Question: My gopher pro is locked and i can't un lock it. How do i unlock it?
Answer: One thing the other answers don't tell you is that there is a small peg at the end of the arm. It hooks into the side of the handle and may be a bit stiff when new. If the lock/unlock button at the hinge is in the unlocked position, just pull outward at the peg. The packaging should mention this, but the diagrams do not even show the peg. -
Question: Just purchased but i can’t seem to unfold it. what am i missing? feel kind of stupid.

Question: How long is this grabber, in inches (not centimeters!)?
Answer: 32 inches fully opened and folds to about 16 inches. -
Question: What diameter object can this hold?
Answer: I use this for picking up bottles, lotion, my tissue box sometimes, and numerous other items. You can't do anything wider than approximately four to five inches in diameter. And you can't lift more than maybe a half a pound? I don't measure it, however I sometimes have to pick up my pillow from the floor because I'm disabled and I can grab the corner if I hold on to the entire thing with two hands pull it up enough where I can grab it and put it back on my bed. If the object is square like my tissue boxes you can always catch the inner corner and it'll grab that. Just be warned these things are really cheesy and they can break very easily. Also I have one where I can't fold it in half anymore. It's a useful tool because the suction cups really make a difference compared to all those other ones out there, but I have to buy at least two of these every month because they break often and I can't find another one that can hold the grip as well as this one does. I hope that helps you out. I'm going to still continue using this particular type just because of the suction cups that really makes a difference. Good luck -

Answer: There is a lock in the center (at the fold) that you press to unlock -
Question: What is the maximum weight that this Grabber can lift?
Answer: I believe the package states it's weight limit. If you shop at Wal-Mart, they should have some where the canes are located. I wouldn't use to get a large can of coffee. Don't think it opens that wide, either. I like it to get what I can't reach or move the item so I can knock it down to catch it. Like being able to get to hard to reach areas...like behind the washer and dryer or large desk. -
Question: Are replacement suction cups available?
Answer: I don't remember reading about it on the package. Since, I don't save the package, I have no way to contact for replacement. I buy a new one when the other breaks. They have them at Wal-Mart. -

Question: i am un-mechanical and cannot unfold this. i pressed the mechanism where it folds but nothing happens. can anyone help?
Answer: On the blue plastic handle, there is a slot which a peg down by the base of the arm fits into to hold it closed securely when folded. When I tried to unfold my grabber for the first time, this peg was quite tight and it took a good tug to get it loose. It is hard to see when the grabber is folded.
