Question: Has anyone had success in treating toenail fungus with essential oregano oil?
Answer: After 20+ years of toenail infection that I picked-up from locker room showers in school and spending the past 2 years trying to finally be rid of it, I could fill a book with what I've learned. It wasn't until I understood that it must be killed from the inside as much as the outside that I saw results. The fungus feeds on sugar-- had to ELIMINATE it from my diet then add oregano & olive oil extract into it. On the outside: soaking in buckets of tea tree oil solutions, vinegar solutions, etc... Coating nails with oregano & tea tree & manuka oils 4x/day...using a motorized pedicure set to keep the nail surfaces open...tea tree soap & stiff brush on nails during every shower, wear sandals at home all year so nails get air (Chacos are awesome!), toe socks & wider boots at work-- these are some of the approaches that worked. Details are easily found with a web search. Most important is the dicipline to do it EVERY day. It was months before I saw any results and it's taken 2 years to achieve 90% clear nails-- but I had it bad on all 10 toes. Most cases aren't so widespread and will clear up in a few months. But I didn't see the real results until I eliminated sugar and started taking oregano extract to kill the bacteria in my system. Be patient. Don't get discouraged. Do some research before you start. Question: What is the difference between this one, the French lavender, and the other lavender?
Answer: Meh2180 and Claudia are both partially right in that Lavendula angustifolia has a different smell from "French" lavender; however, Lavendula angustifolia is very commonly grown in France and many other Mediterranean areas. French lavender (intermedia and dentata) have much more pine and camphor notes and less "sweet". Lavendula angustifolia is the "true" lavender and most common sourced for essential oil and teas. -
Question: What ailment is this used for?
Answer: I use to remove skin tags and rub it directly on skin using about 1/4 of a cotton ball; must have at least 50 skin tags. Recently had 2 fall off. I am assuming the large ones will take longer...kinds on skin of upper stomach and under breasts. One day this one felt a little sore and in about 2 days fell right off. I am assuming wart removal to be similar..had tried a removal system mixed ingredients but could not use due to its having cedar oil and was highly allergic. -
Question: does it get rid of toenail fungus?
Answer: I found this information on Mayo Clinic website that states Tea Tree Oil has NOT been found effective on toe nail fungus... FYI -
Question: I am knew to these oils........can this be put in oil diffuser and will it smell good......?
Answer: I use it to my skin. So I think it'll be good for defuser . Smell wise this one probably the best smelling lavender oil I ve used i m buying another one. -
Question: is this 100% cedarwood oil or is it in a carrier oil?

Question: does it get rid of skin mites on eyelashes?
Answer: It is fine if you dilute it in another oil. I use it for that every night in the shower with a mixture of 2 parts tea tree oil, 1 part canola and 1 part castor, and my Clarisonic. I do that first thing for about 2 min on my nose and eyes, then leave it for 10-15 minutes and rinse it out at the end of my shower. That's how I clean my face. I do believe that it kills the mites after you have interrupted the breeding for a few weeks. I would recommend a Clarisonic. It only gets in my eyes rarely, and it just burns a little. -
Question: Is this cinnamon oil derived from ceylon cinnamon bark or cassia cinnamon bark?
Answer: It is listed as Cinnamomun Cassia oil on the bottles. It does not say bark or leaves. In the description it claims to be from cinnamon bark. It is not listed on the label whether it is leaves or bark. I would not buy this again due to false advertising. It is a high price for Cassia. -
Question: Is this food grade oil? Is it edible? Thank you.
Answer: All therapeutic grade essential oils say not for internal use. One reason is because they are extremely powerful and can cause burning. ALWAYS DILUTE when taking any oil internally ! -
Question: Is this nontoxic?
Answer: Its nontoxic..i used this for my tooth..there is another one that is toxic and you must not used it for internal..this one is safe..i had no problems works great..
