Question: My dishwasher has black mold growing in it. What could be causing it. We run the dishwasher typically 3-5 times a week.
Answer: Mold is growing because you are running it 3-5 times per week. Put a small amount (half an ounce) of bleach in your dishwasher with every wash and let your dishwasher dry out (leave the door open) after each use. With 3-5 washes per week the mold/mildew will be gone by the end of the week. -

Question: Very soft water here, 6.5 year old bosch w/new filter now leaving grit on somethings; will this solve this problem? ... and safely?
Answer: My situation is hard water leaving mineral deposits noticable on my glassware. This products left my glasses very clear with no damage to my China or stainless flatware. Not sure if it will help in your situation. -

Answer: I live on a septic tank area and it is safe to be used on it, so I think it is safe to be use on regular septic. So yes it is safe. -

Answer: Yes, I think so. My dishwasher is clean and smelling fresh after I use it. Very simple to use, I just drop it in just before I start a wash. -

Answer: It might help. After I did the first use using 2 tablets like recommended I noticed all the hard water build up was gone and the machine drained completely. My dishes are clean and there is no longer a smell coming from the machine. -
