Question: Does it work on boats in salt water?
Answer: This convenient and versatile liquid spray is ideal and safe for use on vertical and hard to reach surfaces like showers, bathtubs, sinks, toilets above the water line, colorfast carpet, tile and many other surfaces. Iron OUT is best on rust! Note: May damage natural marble, terrazzo, granite, colored grout, brick or stone with iron oxide pigments and metal surfaces. May etch some older or worn porcelain tubs and sinks or ceramic tile. Avoid contact with wood, painted surfaces or wallpaper. If unsure about application, test in a hidden area first. -
Question: Will it work on aluminum?
Answer: Yes it worked fine on my aluminum framed glass door and also will clean the rust build up off the glass, I have hard water and this stuff is great -

Question: can this be used to clean rust stains on fiberglass shower walls?
Answer: Yes, the product should be fine on Fiberglass- it says it is safe on fiberglass on the bottle. I personally use it on ceramic tile and it is very effective for rust stains from well water. -
Question: Will this remove rust stains from vinyl floor?
Answer: Iron OUT Rust Stain Remover Spray Gel is safe for use to remove rust stains from vinyl flooring. With any new application, we recommend first pretesting in an inconspicuous area to determine safety of using on the particular surface. For best results, we recommend spraying directly on the rust stain, wiping with a damp sponge or cloth then rinsing promptly and thoroughly with fresh water. -
Question: How does outdoor or outside use liquid Iron Out for iron stains on concrete differ from the indoor liquid gel for bathrooms, etc.?
Answer: Iron OUT is offered in three varieties, each formulated for specific applications. 1) Iron OUT Powder & 2) Iron OUT Spray Gel are not plant safe and could harm grass and vegetation. This variety is mainly used for indoor applications. 3) Iron OUT OUTDOOR is a pre-mixed solution ready to apply and it is plant safe. It is intended for use only on outdoor surfaces with plenty of ventilation and it can cover large areas. -
Question: Does this work in toilets when you have soft water?
Answer: Hello, Yes you can use this with soft water. -
Question: can it be used on marble?
Answer: Iron OUT Spray can be used on cultured marble but is not recommended for use on natural marble surfaces. As labeled, we advise pretesting each new application to determine compatibility with that particular surface, then if found safe for use, to use product as directed.
