Answer: They fit my hand which would be considered small to medium & they fit my husband who has a large hand. They truly do fit most size hands well. -

Answer: Since these do not specify they are food safe, I would not use them while working with food, but that's just me. I tend to play it safe when it comes to food after a couple cases of food poisoning from other people's cooking.
