Question: What are the ingredients?
Answer: The actual ingredients are not listed on the bottle, nor the Weimar website. It specifically reads: UVX-15 sunscreen, and No silicone or wax. If you have concerns about environmental impact or allergies, etc. you might want to speak directly to their customer service folks. However, now that the PSA is out the way, I've used this product for several years on the wood floor of my entry hall. There's a pleasant lemon smell, not too overpowering. It pours a little lighter than olive oil. I've tried some as a furniture "polish" on a rosewood cabinet and was pleased. I find it works best as a restorer. Usually, I apply it at night, when no one's up (we also have two dogs who don't seem bothered by it) and walking around, to give it a chance to soak in and do its magic, and not be too slippery. The next day, I go over it lightly with a clean, dry mop to work it in a little more. Then I'm set for another 3-4 months. If I use it on the cabinet, I follow up with a little spritz of lemon Pledge. I prefer doing it this way, as I found the cream version of Weiman's seemed too watery (IMO) and left a haze. Answer: Yes lemonish sort of but only on the wood surface, not in the air around
