Question: Does this product remove moth larvae?
Answer: Woolite is not formulated to remove or kill moth larvae. Woolite is formulated to freshen, clean and de-wrinkle most fabric types in the convenience of your dryer. -
Question: Does this work for a stain on a cushion on a couch that is to be cleaned with a solvent.
Answer: Summit Brands does not recommend Woolite At Home Dry Cleaner for use on upholstery. -
Question: How many packets would I use to dry clean a goose feather/down comforter?
Answer: I've dry cleaned a double comforter with one. If it's a king I'd use two. It can't really hurt. -
Question: By 24 uses, are they saying this is 4 packs of 6 cloths each?
Answer: Yes. Also, I have had success using each cloth for up to 6 shirts, rather than the 4 they suggest. -
Question: Does this product remove the oil from poison ivy or other oils that cause a rash?
Answer: Consider sending this question to the manufacturer. They probably have a contact us email. My opinion is, you could use the cloth to wipe the clothing before putting it in the dryer. Also, Woolite comes with a spot removing cloth so you could try that. I get poison ivy regularly but I wear gardening or workout clothes and haven’t gotten poison ivy while wearing better quality or dry clean only clothing. -
Question: I'm confused. Is this "24 uses" meaning 4 boxes of 6 packets -or- is this "24 garments" meaning 1 box of 6 packets each cleaning up to 4 garments?
Answer: 24 garments is each packet cleaning up to 4 garments. But for best results 4 tops or shirts but 2 pairs of pants only.
