Question: Does the magnet pick up coins?
Answer: Very amusing question. I tossed a nickel, dime and quarter on the rug. The magnet end would not pick up any coins. I then tried an even stronger magnet and that too didn't work. But the grabber part did just fine! -
Question: how much weight will it pick up. like a glass?
Answer: Unlikely to pick up a glass made of glass, even if empty. It varies with shape of object too. A large remote control can difficult to pick up because of it's shape and smoothness, more than it's weight. A pair of jeans is too heavy for the cord which pulls the clamp, but you can switch to the hook on top instead. A different tool might be best for picking up a glass of water. I hope this helps. -
Question: What's the yellow clip used for, a cane shaft?
Answer: My yellow clip broken the first time a used it to clip onto a round shaft (wheel chair type). However I wanted a hanging loop so the yellow clip remains was perfect for tying on a loop which I use to carry the grabber around the house and hang on a kitchen knob to keep it handy, especially from falling to the floor. -
Question: Is this FSA eligible?
Answer: I would think it would be eligible if it was for a medical condition. We are retired so don't have access to FSA's. But when my wife broke her pelvis, I turned it into my medicare advantage plan as durable medical equipment and was reimbursed. By the way, it is a very good device. -
Question: How much weight will this pick up?
Answer: On the website, it says it picks up "lightweight" items with no mention of an actual weight. I think part of it would depend on the size and shape of an object. I love my reacher and when I broke my ankle and was in a wheelchair, I got two more, one for each room so I did not have to remember to take it with me all the time! They were wonderful to have. -
Question: Is this made in the United States of America
Answer: There is no manufactured info on the product itself. And I've thrown the packaging away. I do want to say the magnet is very weak, and I ordered a strong magnet. You will use the magnet. I had to glue a stronger magnet on mine. -
Question: Is this a Sammons Preston Rolyan brand reacher?
Answer: I think they are differetn companies. -
Question: Rms 26 inches long grabber reacher : is it 26 inches from the end of the handle to the tip or is just the bar 26 inches long?
Answer: Mine measures 29.5 inches, total length of the bar. Add 2.5 inches for the handle and it is 32 inches overall. -

Answer: The line should already be connected when you get it
