Customer Questions & Answers
-
Question: What mm are these?
Answer: They are 6 mm -
Question: What syringes do I need to get to put them on?
Answer: These work with prescribed syringes...meaning, you pick up your medicine from the pharmacy (usually in a pre-filled syringe that contains a set amount of your medication, e.g., 1-week or 30-days supply); you would then use a new pin/needle for each day's dosage...and discard the used pin/needle. -
Question: Will it fit humilin n kwikpen
Answer: They will but are very difficult. You must twist with extra effort to make sure the inner needle makes it through. If you fail, the insulin won’t come out and is very problematic. I went with 4mm 32 gauge from Medtfine and haven’t had any issues on my Humalog and Lantus. I’ve learned that smaller isn’t always better. A bit thicker and stronger piercing the skin is more comfortable that a flimsy wasp stinger burning the injection site. -
Question: Can these be used with easy touch 1ml luer lock syringes?
Answer: Sorry, but no.Pen needles are used with insulin pen only. -
Question: Are they compatible with Toujeo pens?
Answer: Yes they ar -
Question: What is the shortest pen needle size for insulin pens
Answer: I believe the shortest available is 4mm (5/32"). If you are skinny, shorter is better because you don't want to inject into muscle. In my experience (NOT skinny), too short is more painful, too long can cause bruising. Trial and error. I seem to like 1/4". -
Question: Do they fit a Lantus Solostar 300 unit pen?
Answer: I use them on a Tujeo pen and I have used them on a Lantus before, so yes they work very well. -
Question: What Country are these manufactured in?
