    • Question: How do I bennifit from fish oil

      Answer: IMHO it mostly helps decrease inflammation. When I take mine, my knees and body aches less. When I stop taking it, I hurt again. No doubt it has helped me! The great thing about the yummy flavored oils is that they don't leave a fishy after taste like fish oil pills can do. I find the Barleans easier to digest but it IS a more expensive option than the capsules.
    • Question: Does this also have omega-6 and omega-9 in it?

      Answer: It just says Omega 3, our doctor recommended it for our Great Granddaughter. Said it helps the brain develop and this particular brand absorbs better than others. Sorry doesn't have omega 6 or omega 9.
    • Question: What health benefits have users felt from this fish oil?

As for Barlean's fish oil, it is the ONLY fish oil I have found (liquid or capsules) that doesn't result in my burping fish taste later. Also, it's purified/organic and the flavors I have tried are delicious! It tends to be a little sweeter than I like, but that's a minor complaint. I am currently taking the lime. It's slight tartness somewhat counteracts its sweetness. I highly recommend it though it's a a bit pricey. A 16 oz. bottle lasts quite a while though at a tablespoon a day which is what I take.

    • Question: I have always seen this prodcut in the refrigerated section of health food stores. How is it kept cold for shipping?

      Answer: Hi Marcy, we are happy to help! Air, heat, and light are the three elements necessary to cause a product to go rancid, according to Barlean's Customer Support. Barlean's does not ship their products refrigerated. They state that their products are stable up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit and their take on shipping is that a few days in a UPS truck is not going to have an effect on their organic oils. It is not necessary to refrigerate their oils until the bottle is opened, exposing the oil to air and light. We hope this helps! -Jessi V.

      Answer: The only thing I see is third party lab tested. Company number is 800-445-3529

      Answer: Looking at the supplement facts now & I do not see potassium.

    Taste Great & Perfect For Kids…Especially With Braces
    I have been trying to get my kids - tween & newly teen, to take omega-3 supplements for years without success. We tried the mini half-size softgels but they were still too large for the kids to consume & left an unpleasant fishy taste afterwards. Then we tried the gummy multivitamins with omega-3 but I don’t think there’s enough of these supplements in the gummies. In addition, my teen has braces now so the gummies are out of the question! Thank goodness for Barlean’s liquid omega-3 with added vitamin D! The kids can’t even tell they’re taking fish oil! The Mango Peach Smoothie is the best flavor in our opinion. It tastes exactly as how it’s described - mainly peachy & a smoothie like texture. It’s naturally sweet too! There’s no fishy smell whatsoever. The kids are now always happy to take their daily omega-3 supplements. I wish the price was less steep (check often for promos & discounts if you can). All in all, this is a great liquid supplement for people who can’t stand the fishy taste of omega-3. I like to buy things after reading some reviews. I hope my review will help you in your decision making too.

    Palatable omega 3
    I hate the taste of fish oil, but I recognize it’s beneficial properties for achieving better health. This product allows one to orally consume fish oil without the awful taste associated with it. This tastes good, and one never tastes fish, only the fruit, but with all the benefits.

    Love it!!
    Tastes great! Especially no aftertaste! It's like having a smoothie shot everyday with breakfast! For a change of pace I decided to mix it in my yogurt at breakfast it tasted real good. The same thing when I put it in my cottage cheese. Though orange colored cottage cheese looked funky! It is often the best part of my breakfast! Have tried every flavor in the 1500 strength. Love them all! Only problem is I can't find a place that sells all the flavors!

    Very Tasty!
    Mango peach omega3 fish oil supplement is by far the best I have had. It taste really good and because of the flavor my 8 yr old likes to take it without any problem. It does not have the fishy burp.
